Just bought 2018 CR-V, EX-L. How do you turn on the rear windshield wiper? Does it only engage when gearshift is in reverse?

So the stalk on the right side of the steering wheel controls the windshield wipers. At the tip of that stalk you can twist it and turn on the back windshield wiper. Let me know if you can not figure it out.

Danyal Saeed you can purchase a CRV with or without built-in navigation. If yours is just a Classic XL model. You still have a workaround for this. You can plug your phone into the USB and pull the navigation off your phone onto the touchscreen. It's using a program called either Apple carplay or Android auto depending on your phone.

If you don't buy the nav system, are you only missing out on the Garmin directed system? If that is the only item missing, then why would a person spend the extra amount just to add the Garmin maps/directions? I suppose that they do not come with lifetime updates. Thank you.

John Daugherty the difference between the EXL and EXL with navigation is only that. So you're looking at the options of paying an extra $1,000 for the vehicle and having a built-in. Or not, and using Apple carplay or Android auto and pulling the navigation off your phone onto the screen. If I was going to be in the mountains out of cell service a lot I might go with the navigation with GPS. For the everyday person in Suburbia or cities I think Apple carplay and Android auto are a great option and it saves you money.
