2010-2011 rookie of the year right here...he still qualifies because he didnt play a single regular season game last season..sorry john wall, unless he gets hurt hes gonna win it
@KRobify even if you consider him a sophmore, 20+10 already? you cant deny he is a beast and definitely one of the best pf in the game right now. i know the slam dunk contest is quite debateble. but his consistant performance through out the season, even for a sophmore, is unbelievable
@ShadowEcho25 He's much better with his ball handling skills than what this video shows. Just watch some of the videos of him on youtube, he makes some really good moves. This vid of him was uploaded in May 2009, which is good to have, because now you can see his progress by watching what he is doing in the 2010/2011 season. And there was a period of time he couldn't practice because of his injury.
this guy is gonna be 10 times betr than kenyon cause of his work ethic. he will continue working on his jumper till he hits it consistently. kenyon always had the feeling that he was the best in da wrld, so he never worked on his game after college. blake will be a superstar because of his strength and work ethic.
They are trying to expand his game. If Dwight had worked on his shot, he would be a dominant and consistent 25/15 type player. You dont want just one aspect of your game to show, if he pans out he will be a Karl Malone type with mid range and post game.
What is up with the comments of Blake Griffin and his jumpshot? He is a Power Forward, he's gonna be taking his shots on the inside besides his shooting mechanics looks better than Shawn Marion's and he's a good jump shooter.
@KRobify You obviously mean in the offseason...because I am willing to bet all the money in the world that every rookie got to train with NBA trainers considering they were practicing on an NBA team...He still wouldve won it had he not gotten hurt last year...he has way more potential than John Wall or any other rookie
@TheGin Prolly not considering I'm 6'7 and I've played basketball all my life. Plus the fact he would have no hands and we all no Americans can't use their feet
He's got great potential..little chicken wing in his off hand makes his jumper look a bit funny..but good release and follow thru..he's been shittin on boys in the nba this year..he'll be an all-star if he stays healthy.
@KRobify I didnt say he didnt have an advantage...i was just pointing out that other rookies also got to work with NBA trainers...I guess you could he say he had an advantage considering he got help from the almighty players of the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS...hahaha...he still wouldve won rookie of the year
hey trainer - why not get Blake to stop dipping the ball on his catch and shoot? He could be a great shooter without this flaw. look up blake if you want a better shooting coach.
that wasn't that impressive.. his dribble is pretty good for a bigman but i'm not sure why they kept making him take midrange shots and he was missing a bunch of them. he even missed some easy ones in side going against practically no defense.
@tcampbellla i mean nba players are not the best in the world, if they were, they would have won world championships, and all previous Olympics. And i know they won the most resent one, i just think they think too highly of them selves...
@jminor01 hahahaaha and also ow he says "he's a flop...hekind of reminds of carlos boozer" like booz, the two time all star and USA gold medalist never did anything in his career oh my god it IS the most stupid comment ever!
Oh come on. This is just a draft workout. Blake doesn't have to start getting serious and pawn his instructor, you know? XD P.S. I guess he'll probably dunk on him if he gets serious. 0.o Haha.
2010-2011 rookie of the year right here...he still qualifies because he didnt play a single regular season game last season..sorry john wall, unless he gets hurt hes gonna win it
hes 20 and he got drafted #1 by the clippers. hes a beast

2008 and 2009 No. 1 picks D-Rose and Blake both have hops. :)

Reminds me Of Kenyon Martin soo much. Blake is more physical but besides im looking for a K Mart type career
hes gotten a lot better since then.
this guy is gonna be 10 times betr than kenyon cause of his work ethic. he will continue working on his jumper till he hits it consistently. kenyon always had the feeling that he was the best in da wrld, so he never worked on his game after college. blake will be a superstar because of his strength and work ethic.
he should correct his left arm move when he shots, im not hating, he is a beast
He´s a beast
he should use the backboard on those 45 degree angle shots...
They are trying to expand his game. If Dwight had worked on his shot, he would be a dominant and consistent 25/15 type player. You dont want just one aspect of your game to show, if he pans out he will be a Karl Malone type with mid range and post game.
type "short guy dunks" in the youtube search box to see a 5ft 5in guy dunking a 10ft hoop
@ej2901 It's not who it is performed against, it's the technique he is talking about
@MrMattyg7394 He got to train with NBA trainers, unlike other rookies, and played in preseason and summer league games.
he does NOT look 6' 10", more like 6' 8"
What is up with the comments of Blake Griffin and his jumpshot? He is a Power Forward, he's gonna be taking his shots on the inside besides his shooting mechanics looks better than Shawn Marion's and he's a good jump shooter.

@ej2901 something went right because now he does turn arounds on king james and dunks on 7'1" players
He's done for the season.
If michael beasley was born a year later would he go number 1 this year ahead of griffen?
c its th way he shoots good point tho but he learnd 2 shoot tht way if u chnged it it would take longer 4 him 2 gt his shot back down
bc its not about being physical.. its more about footwork.
HIS JUMPER LOOKS GOOD 2 ME...
@TheGin Prolly not considering I'm 6'7 and I've played basketball all my life. Plus the fact he would have no hands and we all no Americans can't use their feet
how does he not have hops?
how come he can shoot in these drills but never in a game! plus his free throws are killing him!
@paolosniper1 lol u mentioned the two that won, what about the others that lost. hahah can u explain. you make me laugh.
boyyy when heeeee getttsss a jayyyyyyyy... im sorry for anyone who has to defend him
You can tell Blake is getting frustrated with his shot 2:08
man! i like to have that workout!
He's got great potential..little chicken wing in his off hand makes his jumper look a bit funny..but good release and follow thru..he's been shittin on boys in the nba this year..he'll be an all-star if he stays healthy.
@TheDezert
Injury.
no way....shawn kemp was an animal...more so than griffin....and b davis is past his prime
@xbno1 Hell yeah, Blake Griffin is a fucking monster!! But he had a head start in the ROY race.
dude can shoot
@ej2901 The asian guy might be a Chuck Hayes.
@MrMattyg7394 yea he would've still one it no doubt lets be real he had to recover from a injury he couldn't get as much practice
baron davis and blake griffin will be the second coming of gary payton and shawn kemp
he is only a floor shooter he needs to improve his shoot to a jump shoot
Blake "Giant" Griffin
hes prob taller than 5'5', cuz blake is like 6'9'
FILIPINO!
@TheDezert hes injured!
@KRobify I didnt say he didnt have an advantage...i was just pointing out that other rookies also got to work with NBA trainers...I guess you could he say he had an advantage considering he got help from the almighty players of the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS...hahaha...he still wouldve won rookie of the year
"nice turn around" Lol against a 5'5 asian guy in the post
Both heights do damage. contrary to 6'0
This guy jumps off the floor eazy but than he barely lifts to get his jump shot off...
hey trainer - why not get Blake to stop dipping the ball on his catch and shoot? He could be a great shooter without this flaw. look up blake if you want a better shooting coach.
@donaldo24leftmid lol hes not a rookie
he wouldnt have been better this year
he gota work on his handles
He should really look up dribbling and face down.
that wasn't that impressive.. his dribble is pretty good for a bigman but i'm not sure why they kept making him take midrange shots and he was missing a bunch of them. he even missed some easy ones in side going against practically no defense.
ey baby, shaq is waiting for ya :)
He literally floats on his fading jump shot, no form really.
All it takes is a simple google :P
but he's 20 and was drafted by the LA Clippers
It's too bad injury plagued his rookie year.
lmao his jumpshot was so rachet
@KingNike316 Although hes 6'8"..
kid prolly'll be better than dwight or yao
@ej2901
he might look 5"5 next to blake
btu he is gonna look 6"5 next to you
@ej2901 blake griffin is like 6 10... any average man would look tiny next to him
@ej2901 its a work out-__-
Hahahaha his shot my god blake
who are those children with whom he trains?
he driblles the ball funny like shq cooz he has too big hands
I wish I was 6'10.
Why does he have a lil ass asian guy guarding him? lol..
He should have someone tall as him.
Guy is no PF, he will be a small forward in the NBA.
@tcampbellla i mean nba players are not the best in the world, if they were, they would have won world championships, and all previous Olympics. And i know they won the most resent one, i just think they think too highly of them selves...
Oh god! Why Clippers?! :
eeeh, mismatch! He schould have a bigger guy guarding him, even at practise!
his J is ugly, still a great player though, cant wait to see him fully in action
he doesn't look 250 at all.
@jminor01 hahahaaha and also ow he says "he's a flop...hekind of reminds of carlos boozer" like booz, the two time all star and USA gold medalist never did anything in his career oh my god it IS the most stupid comment ever!
i bet this guy is the real deal caz of his work ethic and skills. Amare is overrated anyway he sux w/out Nash.
Oh come on. This is just a draft workout. Blake doesn't have to start getting serious and pawn his instructor, you know? XD
P.S. I guess he'll probably dunk on him if he gets serious. 0.o Haha.
bad example cus none of them can shoot
no handles, no jump shot and poor foot work! How is he number 1 during this year draft, he should stayed in college!
@tcampbellla nba players are not the best in the world...
his 3 point shot is ugly
He looks weak, going to be another lottery flop!
that workout sucked
overrated
