I think the writers wanted Sean to know that truth, they didn't want him to live in a lie, and after him knowing the truth, he would've probably really hard for him ,to forgive him. But after his death little easier to forgive him and I think Jaan Alam needed the closure in his lifeI think that was a really good ending.
I do remember when this drama was on air it was 2018... And I was fall in love with all characters specially Humayon Ashraf, Danish Taimoor, Sanam Chauhadry... Still loving this drama... Masterpiece Of All Time.

I must say every one acted very well. The song is so soft and heart warming,, specially at the end. I am really happy that the writer ended jaan e Alam character by death (suicide). It shows what you do to others it comes exactly same to you. He made the other girl commit suicide, he ended his life commiting suicide. He did very wrong to mariam by forcing her to do some bad things, his sister suffered for the same. He married mariam and divorced her to make her reputation bad, she ended up marrying his own brother, who loved her. I make dua in real life Allah punishes and destroy all oppressors and let all oppressed to see that. Ameen
