Hi Brett, if you put both old caps side by side you’ll see they are indexed different. There is a left and right cap. When I was working on my tanks I noticed this difference. 108-1121111 is the new cap (obviously) it look as though Univair is only making one cap for both sides. By the way how do you like your LED landing/Taxi lights?
Hi Christopher - OK on the fuel cap indexing. I hated to spend so much for new gas caps, but the new caps from Univair not only stopped the leaking but they function better. The seal on the old ones fit so tight I had to put oil on the seal to allow them to twist tight. Regarding the LED landing and position lights. They are GREAT! I am very glad I made the switch on both. The "LightPipes" do not work well during the day, but the LED position lights have never failed to strobe when I command them to flash with the switch. I just wish there was a way to see and confirm they were flashing during daylight.
