Best modular lesson ever in here : "I'll pull the patch apart, but it might not go back together the same way again" :-) Great lessons overall, they have been hugely helpful, thanks.
well, definitely the best way to understand modular patching is to watch your videos. i learnt a lot anyway, thanks so much and hope to see more of these:)
So glad I discovered your channel. This stuff is so fascinating. How long did it take you to acquire all this stuff/save up for it? How much did this set up cost? And what kind of thought went into which modules to get?
I would check out the website www.modulargrid.net/ where you can build your own system online and see what it would cost. You can also get feedback from people on muffwiggler.com, which is online community for modular synth users. I would suggest you build up slowly, buy used modules, or make your own with DIY kits, which can be quite cheap if you know how to use a soldering iron.
By the way I started with a Mother 32 semi-modular, which is a great unit and built from there gradually. But recently I have been downsizing because I realized I didn't need such a large set-up.

Hahahah :-) Yes, that's so true! Hard to remake patches, even with extensive notes. Glad you've enjoyed the series and thanks for the kind words!

Great videos, man. I've been hunting down all Maths videos as I try to decide whether to buy it. This was very useful!
Thanks I'm glad it was helpful for someone! I'm still figuring out myself... but it's a really interesting module. I like it a lot.
