  • The Waste to Energy plant, Ghazipur set up by IL&FS Environment on a Public Private Partnership framework is a path breaking initiative. A Euro norm compliant, first plant in the Country, it provides a scientific solution to address the dumping of waste at Ghazipur. The plant has a built capability to process 2000 tons per day and generate 12 MW of Green Power to address East Delhi’s growing waste.
To mainstream waste picker families, IL&FS is providing skill training in addition to providing jobs in the plant. This support through GULMEHER is also helping them with functional literacy and financial inclusion. These efforts have transformed the lives of the ragpickers and converted them to skilled entrepreneurs and provided a replicable model for rehabilitating ragpickers across dumpsites in the Country.

I want such type of complete cycle in all the states and union Territories of the nation... Not only this, your sweepers and all your employees should be well educated... If not in the morning, evening classes must be given... So that... They can operate an android phone, write a letter and sign their documents after reading them... The minimum qualification.... They must be literate enough to understand the system... In order to work in a conducive environment... Nothing less than this!!!

Great! I have noticed a rapid growth of plants and this technology all over the world. In the last five or six years this type of project is becoming a reality outside Europe and Japan. In the US I believe they are accepting this concept more. Unfortunately, but not too bad, we have a long way to go to start implementing this type of plant.
Meanwhile, we can see in Europe about 360 plants, in Brazil there is only a first, as in India.
And in these countries these plants are more striking than the first world.

Chemical, mechanical, electrical, electronics, etc. It is a combination of all these core engineering and mainly the civil engineering which constructs such plants and connects all the remaining engineering departments.

Watching it in 2020 after the ILFS scam has been exposed and how there's a waste mountain in ghazipur today.
Except for the charming voice in the documentary everything else is pure gas and hyprocracy fusion served to make the citizen feel good.
