    I'm so late to this partybut on the off-chance you see this question....
    All of the other videos i see about LLIs say to work the stitch then grab the stitch two below the leftmost stitch on the right needle. I'm still new to this, but it seems like your method of just slipping is way simpler.
    Why would folks make things more complicated than merely slipping a stitch?

      This is different than a M1L. For a M1L you do not slip any sts and would pick up the bar running between the 2 sts, not the stitch below. This increase is a bit more invisible and won't cause puckering if you have to do a lot of them in one row or round.

      Andrea Mowry can you use it in place of M1L? Would it accomplish the same thing? I like this one, you made it seem much easier than M1L when using fingering weight wool.
