a friend of mine bought an original frame hd knuckle head with that kind of fork back in the 70's. i rode it a few times and it was the most rediculous bike i ever rode, it had no front brake and you could barely make a turn with it. i tried to talk him into putting a regular fork on it like a springer or a wide glide but he liked it.

This bike was made with that front end in mind. So it isn't really hard to ride, I'm struggling here as it is literally my first time riding it and a bunch of stuff was not setup right. But I generally ride it every day if its nice out.

@@steveperry1344 I mean it has a disc in the rear and it stops just fine. I don't ride it like its a super sport or anything so the rear brake is more then enough. A front brake would not work very well here since it would just try and tuck the front wheel due to how long the front is.

put duel pipes - tune carb and best of all -
put a 530 full 1000cc roller chain and sprocket kit on it.... if I recall correctly - drop one tooth on front and add three on the rear....
the 530 chain is 11% lighter and stronger the the 620 stock chain... that's besides the fact it's a true roller chain...
this puts the stock cam on it's best power band... it moves - you only will notice a very limited RPM difference ...
put lots of smiles for miles on my face back in the day
