SL lock is one of the best, if not the best class for 1v1 situations and in the hands of a player like snutz it's even harder to beat. You did well Ziqo!
dungeon gear favours SL locks a lot since no other class has the burst to deal with them. Most of their strengths lies in talents and stamina which gives an advantage to other classes who scales with gear

Back in vanilla, there was this debate between me and the other mages in the guild. They kept saying "PoM+Pyro" was the only way to PvP, and called me lucky when I did better then them on my frost mage. Watching you brought back great memories. Thank you for all the hard work you put into getting ready for this tournament, and thank you for some of the best mage PvP I have ever seen.
mad proud of you! warlock is just fundamentally a lamer class mechanics wise, mage is the pinnacle of interactive and big brain strat. dont get me wrong mage is one of it not the most powerful classes and as a warrior main i know the pains of being absolutely gimped, mage was the most fun i ever had along with rogue just because they have so many tools. but shadow priests and warlocks are just so powerful by virtue of bullsh**/ the dots auto win and they have so many stall and tank tactics that no other cloth class is afforded.
Top run from both, I was hoping this to be the final, regardless of outcome!! Even though I am a warlock at heart, you are probably the most technical PvPer I've ever seen, they way you handled every single matchup, I was 100% sure you'd bring it home :D Absolute legend!!!

I came back for the final. Gg, man. Your duels through the tournament were amazing. You could see a clear difference between most players and then maybe an elite 4 or 5 players, and even the gaps between those players were huge. You were definitely top 2 to win this. I think you would have took it if it weren't an SL/SL lock in the final.

With this amount of kiting possible, in an open field, SL lock seems favoured to win - but that's of course easy to say now.
Classic 1v1 pvp is nowhere close to balanced. SL lock can faceroll almost any other class.
In a field with obstacles, SL lock is even more favored to win. They benefit more from running around pillars than a mage does.@@AsifIcarebear3

I've been a while following u since the good old days with your bald gnome streaming on websites in the pre-Twitch era, like ArenaJunkies, singing 90's and 00's songs, and winning 2x1 skirmishes for fun. Over a decade after all of this, it's amazing to see the path you walked on, how much you have grown, and to see that the whole community loves you, Big Z.

Also i learned SO MUCH during this event. Hopefully there will be another one, i would like to see class-only awards, not all classes are made equal, but that's just me.
That would be so boring though. The fun is learning how to counter and overcome different classes. Some of the mirror matches lasted 20 minutes, it was terrible lol.

You've been amazing in this tournament and coming up to it! Would be really nice to see analysis of what exactly went wrong and what was going through your mind. Why didn't you use shadow res gear?
What went wrong...was he was facing a top Warlock. Just due to class, they could duel 10 times and Snutz would win every time.

Back in vanilla, there was this debate between me and the other mages in the guild. They kept saying "PoM+Pyro" was the only way to PvP, and called me lucky when I did better then them on my frost mage. Watching you brought back great memories.

warlock is just fundamentally a lamer class mechanics wise, mage is the pinnacle of interactive and big brain strat. dont get me wrong mage is one of it not the most powerful classes and as a warrior main i know the pains of being absolutely gimped, mage was the most fun i ever had along with rogue just because they have so many tools. but shadow priests and warlocks are just so powerful by virtue of bullsh**/ the dots auto win and they have so many stall and tank tactics that no other cloth class is afforded.

I came back for the final. Gg, man. Your duels through the tournament were amazing. You could see a clear difference between most players and then maybe an elite 4 or 5 players, and even the gaps between those players were huge. You were definitely top 2 to win this. I think you would have took it if it weren't an SL/SL lock in the final.
