    So happy to see you give the Hippo a try and get a nice win!
    It's great for getting opponents out of their opening preparations, and it's super flexible and has similar ideas with more standard openings like the Pirc and KID.

    I hope that I will never fall so far down to have Hippo as part of my regular repertoire, BUT I still appreciate the awesome underrated instructive content. Thanks, Robert!

    Having the patience to play Kg6 is a high level endgame tactic! What a great move! Winning Endgame tactic.

    Bravo! As a big Modern/Hippo fan, I was excited by your title, and I was inordinately proud of myself for finding ... Kg6, at the end...

    Congrats to the 4 of 5 result! 👍👍 In this game I think white was securing a bit to much and playing without plans. To much respect maybe. 😙Edit: I was instantly with you when playing Kg6 at the end. Curtains down. 😊

    How did the endgame go if you had 30s or so left ?

    • @NMRobertRamirez
      @NMRobertRamirez  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was easy since we had a 30-second increment per move 👍
