I completely maxed my town hall 14 before i moved to town hall 15. It gave me time to relax towards the end and my bases hold up much better than a rushed base
With the time wasted to max th14, one can rush th15 and max a couple armies and heroes for th15😂

@@Longdn00 my clan has my back. We have all been clan mates for years. What some people don't understand though is that with everything maxed (heroes, defenses and army included) 1. It is harder to take down your base. 2. Your attacks are stronger (heroes max helps tons). 3. Variety of attacks (with all troops at your disposal you can try any attack style you want.... hence more fun and longevity).
Many people play for a couple months and then quit for a couple months... I play daily

Without taking into account the time spent in collecting resources, just looking at the upgrade time alone, Maxed th12 is the 50% mark till you're a maxed th15! Let that sink in

When exactly did he say anything about walls? Ignore walls, if you don’t have resources overflowing. You can upgrade them later
as a young adult grinding at my own life, i agree and don’t have that sort of time unless it’s a work holiday and i’m not with family or friends. surprisngly some older retired folks spend a looooot of time on the game though!
Literally no reason to grind for walls. Just max your attack and go next TH. Do that at every level, to minimise the time spent to get to max.
Also I obviously don't only put resources into my attack, but I also upgrade my defenses and walls along the way. I just don't wait for them to be max, before I upgrade my TH, I do that as soon as my attack is maxed.

Was a Th10 when Th12 came out, Th11 When TH14, TH12 When TH15 came out, and currently a Th13, I think I can make it to TH15 before TH16 though

You should stay in town hall 14 as long as you can if you're not max yet because all active and pro players are in townhall 15. Which means that you'll be having hard time to search for bases to loot and you will get raided all the time

I personally plan on maxing every town hall before I upgrade, I do NOT want to ever reach fully max, because I know that I will stop playing the game. Being able to upgrade constantly keeps me playing

I max at every town hall 100%, most satisfying way to do it and you don’t get overwhelmed next town hall.

Even if this is more optimal, I just don’t like having buildings that are multiple levels behind, and I love the way all the buildings match color when you max out.
I think rushing only applies to pros with multi accounts that need top th level. But for beginners or f2p. You'll enjoy the game more if you max th and try every strategy per th and hone skills slowly than being th15 and only knowing drag attacks in war.
Nah, bc lower THs rely on trash army comps like Electro Spam or Drag Spam that don't involve full heroes. Best to get to TH13 ASAP and learn good attacks with all 4 heroes.

@@JessePinkman-kk1veYou are right, that the total upgrade time would be nearly the same, but take into account, that if you reach th15 sooner, you can for example spend a hammer of building on an 18 day upgrade instead of a 2d one. And, farming resources is much easier in th15. After all, are you saying, that a rusher, who spent 2,5 years attacking in th15 would attack worse, that a maxer, who just got to th15, just because the rusher attacked less in lower ths?

I max out literally everything before I move on. I still got a couple traps to upgrade but I'll be th11 soon =)
Just my two cents but as soon as your hero’s are maxed and the troops you generally use for war are done always upgrade to the next th lvl. Or else it’s just wasted time where heros will be upgraded and even potentially loot if walls are maxed. Let’s say you are a maxed th11 for 1 months that’s around 4-5 hero lvls if you have them running constantly other than during cwl. If you like a th lvl in particular start a mini and get that account to that level and max it out and you can always play that account whenever you feel nostalgic.
@@stranglove7185 That isn't great (it will lead to burnout.) people upgrading their heroes 24/7 and not being in war isn't fun.
@@rotocoach5397 how is it burnout? Normal wars are more or less unimportant. Just get a little bit of loot and some clan exp. Cwl is worth doing. Having heros run constantly would get you max bit sooner in the long run. Because you will be able to join higher lvl cwl clans which equals to more medals every month.

I just upgraded mine to 14 at new year and th is 5 and all other big stuff including cc air D’s are done. Pets unlocked. Going to work at storages now , but with the gold pass I don’t find it necessity right away anymore

Depends. If you're only focused on upgrading your heroes and army, and some big defenses, then maybe it makes sense. But if you want to max out th14, you're in for much longer than that. I guess without a gold pass, it should be somewhere around 6 months to fully max your base, but I'm not quite sure about that

There is no way it will take you 2 months to be th15 if you are a th14. For example it took me 3 months to get to th11 (I was th10 for over a year and a half) and if I continue like this I can be th12 in november.

I maxed th11 to th14 in year and 3 months a whopping 600$ spent including gold pass. If I only bought gold pass probably nearly two years. Use your items correctly raid til you pretty full on loot and distribute upgrades and walls correctly you can get there as I did

ofc it's going to take you 2 months if you are p2w. Two months isnt even enough time to upgrade everything and with times like 30 days for an eagle artillery or 10 days for an inferno it's is impossible to max th 14 that fast. I think that th 14 is around 8 months of upgrades for f2p and if u weren't a rushed th 13.

Vid is only taking strictly only offense upgrades. Which is a really good tip for anyone who wants to play the game finally. As soon as you max heros plus unicorn on th14 it’s kind of better to jump to th15 and max out heros and start working on Phoenix and diggi. Then you will always have heros up and in time be maxed out. If troops not being maxed is your concern power pots is the answer. Be a good attacker and in war no th14s will 3* because of the new th15 defenses and you can 3* th14s easily. Win-win situation

I actually 100% agree, I ran the stats on this many months ago and came to the same idea. I didn't play nearly enough to meet the 2 month window though and upgraded my ox too. This is especially worthwhile if you only war in cwl too
It is true that you need a bit over a month to finish all heroes, but you need 8 months for all buildings( not including walls) and 1 full year for lab upgrades. If you just want stronger edrags go rush like this guy, you will miss out on lot of three stars... I mean fun

For me I'm going to spend a lot of time in th14 still 5 days for upgrade to th14. Because th14 design and everything is just too beautiful and i haven't maxed my th13 defences itself so it will take a lot of time. I feel i might spend around 4-5 months atleast but i might even spend the whole time as th14 as i don't like th15 too much so till th16 comes i might just be a th14 lol
If you’re going to wait till 16 you might as well go to 15 to get through it so you’re ready for 16. Either way you go your base is going to look like a 15 at some point or another
honestly, just the pet house alone takes so much time to get to the unicorn. then farming for the unicorn upgrades in just 3-4 days interval is hard enough

Th13 is really bored to max so you gotta get your heros core defence done and get to 14 that's the best way

The town hall's aesthetics make me not want to spend a day
After getting th12 walls, don't bother going further unless you want your sanity drained, it's not really worth it because I noticed th13 and up just makes walls almost useless, air spam, log launcher, miner hogs, flame flinger, etc. Not worth the resources for the benefits
No matter what you do, someone will always find a way to 3 star your base. There is no "anti-3" base. Otherwise, everyone would be using it. While yes, defenses do increase the odds of a successful defense, if the attacker is skilled enough, he'll 3 star you no matter how hard you try. Also, think of it like this, you don't upgrade bases for practicality, but rather to make it look cool since if the person makes the right judgement after shuffling, they're confident their army could take you down. removing the emphasis on defence. I'm not saying give up, just don't sweat about it, and have fun.
(Most poeple aren't skilled attackers, so defensive upgrades do make a difference)

I am 6 months into th14, and my last cannon is about to finish upgrading. I am almost completely max aside from my walls and the hero pets. I only care about the unicorn for the same reason you said. The th15 pets are amazing.

@@nointernetdinosoursgame2351 nope, unless you're using gems and books to finish the upgrades you'll be spilling resources half way through the first upgrade cycle. The build time for defenses takes at least 13 days with no build time discount.

And besides, the core defences take 18 days each at least. Hero lvls take 8 days each. And then we have walls. If you designate
1 builder for walls
2 for heroes
3 for buildings
You would still need almost 4 months. Unless you just wanna ignore walls but at that point, you're already rushing slightly. You could comfortably be done in 6 months tho.
I just started th14 this month and most of the core defences are upgrading or done. I haven't done the economy upgrades cos of the Mashup event but even then, I might still be playing for 3 more months at least

You do realize that upgrading heroes, defenses and lab takes time at TH14? It should take at least 10 months if you’re not rushing (which you shouldn’t.)

2 months can be achive if you got gold pass, 2500 war leage medals, 5000 raid medals, and insane amount of gems.

Back in the day where town hall 9 was the max , i used to speedrun my village to that town hall without doing upgrades, only the bare minimum, nowadays im at town hall 13 but still trying to max out its upgrades before going up to 14 , because my village is way too under leveled
Also remember to be capable of clearing a TH14 when u r one before going to TH15... 😂
I upgraded to town hall 14 from maxed town hall 13 in January of this year, fast forward to September and I just now upgraded my max 14 to 15, playing every day. 2 months is crazy
Rushing town halls is sacrilege
Th12 has taken me just over a year so that’s a load of 💩
For anyone curious. It took me 5-6 years to go from brand new account to almost max town hall 15. I have all the builders and of only spent money on the gold pass, getting the extra builders and nothing else. Ive always upgraded from most expensive to least expensive. 5-6 years and i still have to go a few lvls on half my troops before there maxed and have half my walls to max.
14d upgrade times are insane though..
It's not rushing, it's strategical upgrading (but honestly staying on th14 is not worth it at all now)
