Great job Jen at the two tournaments in South Africa. You can tell your practice is paying off as far as getting better shots and having better course management. It's amazing how hard you work to get where you're at your hard work's going to pay off more than it already has
Your perspective on course management includes a lot more variables than my simple game although I've picked up quite a few tips from your videos. It's always eye opening to get some of those insights such as needing to pay much closer attention to the grass type and how on this course, pitches needed to clear the apron which resulted in other challenges. Thank you.
Hello Gen, I did not know that you played in Joburg. My home city. You're always welcome here. The ball flies further in Joburg when compared to Durban (a coastal city). The high altitude of Joburg means that the air is thinner/less dense. So you will definitely get more distance. Look forward to your next visit to South Africa!
Great report Gen and glad you made the cut with a great final day score. I believe a lot of the grass in South Africa is 'Kikuyu Grass'. It can be challenging to play in, but it is good that you get familiar with it.
Wow, 17 birdies is fantastic! Looks like your new putter, which I missed last time even though it's the most unique putter in golf, is working out for you. Keep up the great work.
Well played! Being from Joburg originally, the grass around the greens and on most fairways, in that part of South Africa, is most likely Kikuyu, it's a very tough, broad bladed grass.with a rubbery texture. Hard to chip out of as it grabs your club..
Always an insightful watch into behind the scene of a traveling golf pro. Stay well physically n mentally always 🙏 Malaysia Boleh Gen, praying always you get a breakthru win on the LET tour soon
Hi Gen well done on your 2 week golf trip 👍I was watching your score and I don’t know if you knew that after 7 holes yesterday that you were 4 under? You had the best score in the field 👏🏻 keep grinding 🏌️♂️⛳️🇦🇺
How good are those Qatar Airways lounge wear/pyjamas? 😉 Also might want to consider a basic radar launch monitor like the Flight scope Mevo+! Temperature and altitude can make such a big difference and it's cost you some money this week!
I think it's called Kukuyu grass. I remember watching an English pro say you have to open the face a lot to chip off that grass. Anyway, well done Gen! Can we have a stretch routine btw?
Living on a golf course might seem great, until you live on one. It all depends on what the lie of the house is. Some houses catch more slices that others. 😂

Lots of birdies, a low Sunday round, and a great attitude: I call that a successful week! You're definitely trending upwards! 👍👍🤩🤩
One day we will see the old chill intro again, and it will be great. I believe it will come back!
Was on a overbooked flight. Got upgraded to first class. Life changing.

Congratulations this week. Wish the local US golf channels would at least offer coverage of LET tournaments. Safe travels on your journey!!!
Just FYI Gen, moisturiser is recommended to be applied on the jawline just below the chin as well as the face
Congratulations Gen! Onwards and upwards:-)
Thank youuu😉

How can you perform after that many hours traveling? Amazing.
Gen was featured on the Day 1 live coverage at Cape Town, with some very nice comments from the commentary box!

Congrats, I'm playing Erinvale later this year so interested in your thoughts on the course.
Hey genevieve I love your content you got me into golfing!
Aw that’s great to hear!!
I'm from the UK how can I watch your tournaments?
How good are those Qatar Airways lounge wear/pyjamas? 😉

Looking good!
😄
Maybe I missed it, were did you end up? Great job though.keep up the good work.
I remember last year when someone pinched your rangefinder 😮
Yessss I made sure to keep it inside the bag all week! Haha
When and where will you be playing in Cape Town? I really would like to get an autograph.
Should invest in a trackman part of Pro golfer bag Love your videos x
It’s 20k USD though 😂
Good Luck from US
Thank you! 😄
Gauteng (Joberg) is almost as high as Genting (highlands). About 1800m.
Ball doesn’t go as far in Genting!! 😂

Yeah it’s weird because you open the face but then you still get no spin so you jsut need to make sure you hit it to the right spots!
