In current scenario of Kolkata, the erstwhile Calcutta, this very SPIRIT, the unequivocal resistance against injustice in any form whatsoever, is found to be shattered completely. My pranam to Dr. Sisir Basu Sir, with whom, i had the rarest opportunity to work, in a short stint, at Institute of Child Health, kolkata, in 1982-83.🙏
From 1982 to 1987 Sisir served as a member of the legislative assembly of West Bengal for the Indian National Congress party, representing the Chowringhee constituency in Calcutta.[1] From 1996 to 2004 his wife Krishna Bose became Member of Parliament for the Indian National Congress and later Trinamool Congress from the state.

The story of Dr. Sisir Kumar Bose was an Indian version of Star Wars (going to the dark side). In 1950s, he wrote a letter to his aunt Emilie Schenkl saying, "Had you been in India, you would get the feeling that only two men mattered in the freedom struggle, Gandhi and Nehru, and the rest were just extras". The same Sisir Kumar Bose later joined the Congress and started propagating the lie that his uncle perished in the "plane crash".
Can u please tell me something about them more ...can u please tell me subhas chandra bose's children didnt get indian nationality ...i have been searching for it for many time but i am not getting it ...plz help me🙏🙏
@@kavita8188 Seeing that u didn't get a suitable reply... I'm attempting to clear your doubts... We know S C Bose's family as Emilie Schenkl & child Anita. S C Bose had to leave Germany for Japan when Anita was 4 months old. Understandably Anita didn't get a chance to know SCBose or his aims. Emilie was quite familiar with SCBose's ways & she probably knew that her applying for Indian citizenship would not fall in line with SC Bose's ways & means. The mother & daughter duo of Emilie & Anita may have had gone through financial shortages but atleast they were in their native land. Living in India without SCBose would have been far more difficult & complicated for them specially when S C Bose had to go underground after the Britain's exit from India transferring the reins of power to their Indian stooge JLNehru on 15 Aug 1947. Anita, however, came in contact with JLNehru when she grew up and accepted JLNehru's invitation of visiting India as JLNehru's guest. Anita in her interviews spoke about how she could never make Emilie agree to visit India. Anita went to the extent of saying Emilie was stubborn. Well, Emilie had to be stubborn because she had a great deal of respect for SCBose and she knew SCBose wouldn't have liked her to visit India being JLNehru's guest or otherwise. Hope that helps... Good luck.
Despite efforts by then prime minister Indira Gandhi, the Indian government couldn't forestall the screening of a 1984 British documentary that projected Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as a "traitor", reveals a declassified file. According to the PMO file, the then West Bengal chief minister Jyoti Basu had written to Indira Gandhi urging her take up the matter with the British government for stalling the screening of "The War of the Springing Tiger" by Granada Television. "It is reported by those who have seen the preview of the film in London, that Netaji has been labelled in it as clown in jackboots and he has been projected as a traitor to the country," Basu said in his letter dated January 21, 1984. Basu also revealed that "a section of Indians including (Netaji's nephew) Sisir Bose had extended their help in producing the film".
Na bhaii he was bound to tell the lies. Bcz He knew everything Netaji was alive.. The plane crash theory is nothing but a trash. Even Netaji informed him when he returned to india living at that time lucknow, faizabad. Bt he had to tell lie bcz otherwise the congress and gov will find him
