How are you usually celebrating Ostara / the spring equinox? ☺ 🍞🐰🪻 Here is the recipe btw: All you need for 1 bread is: 500 g flour 1 package of dry yeast 250 ml vegan (soy) milk 1/2 tsp salt 60 g margarine 35g sugar (I used 20g in the video) optional: 100 g raisins, cinnamon 1. Mix all the ingredients except the and raisins in a bowl. 2. Add the (room-warm) margarine and knead into a loose dough. 3. Optional: Add the raisins and knead everything well again. 4. Cover the bowl with a clean (kitchen) towel and leave the dough for at least 30-60 minutes until the dough has doubled in size. 5. Take the dough out of the bowl & knead again 6. Now comes the fun part! Divide the dough into three equal pieces, make "sausages" and braid them into a plait. 7. Place the plait on a baking tray with baking paper. 8. Put water on the dough to prevent from drying out using a brush and cover again with the (kitchen) towel. Leave it again for about 30 minutes and then put some more water on the dough before putting it into the oven. 9. Bake for about 30 minutes with 180°C top and bottom heat. It is really so simple and delicious and you can invite your friends and family over to share that fresh warm Ostara bread together! 🍞🐰🪻
I will bake that bread I think 😊, walk the dogs, cuddle with my rabbit, clean the house a bit and relax and hygge 😊 the weather forecast here where I live says rain all day sadly so I just wanna do a lot of selfcare 😊which I really really need at the moment 😅
Super schönes und inspirierendes Video für Ostara 😊💛🌷 Dein Hefezopf schaut mega lecker aus und wird definitiv ausprobiert! Einen magischen Frühling wünsche ich dir!
oh wow! thank you so much! and I'm sorry for the worse audio quality, my microphone just broke the other day 😔 I'm actually thinking about making a witchy meditation as people keep telling me, that my voice is somewhat relaxing for them! ☺ thank you so much for your feedback!
