You deserved that delicious looking desert after all that effort. Looked to be quite a lot of traffic on the climb and descent.

Thanks ! It sure tasted good. It was pretty busy indeed, but still doable. Was more worried about the brakes on the descent.

I know I am old git but why don't you use headphones/earbuds? People inflicting their music on others is annoying.....I think I would steal your speaker! Anyway, enjoying your videos and greetings from the Netherlands..

Do not like to wear earbuds in traffic. But indeed when using a speaker, use it with care...

Hi, I am sorry, I don’t know your name...
Great video, it looks fantastic! I have a question for you 😬 I am planning to do this route in May, with a bike similar to yours for my travel from UK to south Italy. This Splugen pass you did, did you do it from Chur to lake Como via Splugen? How is it? Is it doable with panniers and everything. Are there on route shops to buy water or food? Thank you 🙏

Hi Domenico, Thanks man ! I went via the village of Splugen indeed. And towards Splugen passed Chur. As far as I can remember that is the only way to do the Splugenpass from the Swiss side.
Some stretches are pretty heavy with the additional weight in the panniers. But it is absolutely doable. Just put on your granny gear and pause now and then to catch breath. I never had any issues with finding food or water. Cemeteries (even in small villages) are usually a good source for water if nothing else is around. There is always a tab. Cheers, have a great trip and stay safe in the coming months...
