Thank you so much for these amazing classes that are easy for the beginners and safe to do at home by oneself. I really enjoy your classes and the time goes so quickly with you. Thank you for the explanations of why do we need to do like that, why should not we do like that, etc. It really helps to understand how the body works and why I need to do it in a certain way. I am happy to watch these classes for each part of the body and can't wait to watch any other new lessons! This particular class was easy for me and then I had a muscle pain in my abs for the next 2-3 days like I was in the gym, training my abs only for about an hour, doing repetitive exercises, while I was just relaxing on the hammock! That is amazing! Greetings and love from Russia! You inspire me to do the classes every day and not feeling lazy and getting the joy from your classes!
Thank you sooo much for such a warm and open sharing!😀🙏💖 I’m so happy you’re practicing with me and that you’re enjoying my classes!🥰 and it’s true - when practicing yoga or aerial yoga, sometime it doesn’t even feel we working that much, and then 1-2 days later, muscles will say “hello! Remember us?” 😁
I did this workout yesterday and have told EVERYONE about it. And this morning all the right areas are a bit sore. I think I have a new favorite workout. THANK YOU!!
Excellent class! I love the abs & core classes. It's so nice following your instructions,I felt I'm doing a class in a studio! I also find interesting the challenges, as I love to try new things. Please keep posting 😊😍
Glorious class! I love the progression and creativity. Wanted to give a tip for those who don't have the shoulder mobility in the flips (old collarbone injury, here): release hands once the toes are on the ground before you straighten up; also a single wrap of the arms is more forgiving when going all the way around
It's true, you can just let go of the silk, but also, start by holding it lower in the first place and double wrap is the safety. It's possible to do with one wrap but then you might slide while double wrap makes your arms stick to the silk.
Thanks very much enjoy your class, as a beginner to aerial yoga it would be great to have an explanation on getting the correct height for the silk/sling before you actually start I keep having to stop and start to get it right.
It is quite normal especially if you new to aerial yoga as the body has to adjust to being upside-down - the lymph starts to move pushing out the toxins as well as incision in blood circulation. So don't worry just give it time and make more breaks between inversion poses :)
It takes time fo a body to adjust, so just take it slow, pause a video and take a rest ☺️ you can read more about this in here: www.camiyogair.com/post/your-first-aerial-yoga-class
Hi👋 could you please recommend brands & websites for purchasing hammocks? What are the specific details, fabric, size, ect for best quality hammocks? Thank you
Well you can check my website, where you can get your high quality aerial yoga hammock/silk set. I use these silks in my own studio for 8 years and sell them to other studios :) more info: www.camiyogair.com/shop
Take it slow and always listen to your body as everybody is different, so sometimes to one feels nothing to hand upsdide down for 10min, while for other one - 2 min is enough. So don't over do it and take it slow :)
I would like to purchase a hammock for my home. I have never tried it and all classes near me are cancelled because of you know what. Can you recommend where I can buy the full hammock kit with the hardware included? And what price should I expect to pay? I've read the reviews for the hammocks sold on Ebay and Amazon. But I'm afraid to take a chance and buy the wrong thing.
You can get your magical silk from my website www.camiyogair.com. These silks are high quality and I use them in my studio for over 7 years, also a lot of my students and other studios ordered from my, and they're super happy with them, plus you can choose from 13 different colours :)
İts not a beginner class its hard .if it s for beginners you have to keep it simple and easy.we r doing at home alone not with a trainer.this moves dangerous for doing it at home alone İ got a headache after and i dont feel well İ feel sick İ was like throwing up my body balance is broken when i m upside down that was too long
First of all, if you felt sick and end up with headache that means it's probably your first time and you over did it. You should take it easy, these classes orientated to beginner to intermediate, that means each person has to practice with awareness of their body and experience in aerial yoga. Second of all, if it's your first times, take some breaks, take a longer rest between the poses and stop the video. Don't follow up the whole class, body needs time to get used to being upside down position, because hanging upside down increase bloodstream and lymph, all internal organs detox and so on. So it's normal the first times of aerial yoga classes feel head swings, nausea or headache. You just need to notice when it starts to be uncomfortable and take a break and relax. Small steps is the key. Don't rush, listen to your body and the process of practice will start to be pleasant :)
I’ve been doing yoga for more than 10 years and this was my first aerial class (I decided to try at home). This was perfect! Will follow!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!😊🙏💖

Amazing thank you so much :-) is it normal to feel a bit deasy or with kind of nausea?
This happens usually if you have acidic stomach ! Try to lessen coffee consumption it worked for me !

Hi Camile what do you recommend for beginners to make sure it is safe? does a normal mat or yoga mat under the silk is fine?
Well you should use something under the silk that won’t be slippery, so yoga mat would work fine 😊
Danke
Bitte :)

Do you have a question about the pose? :)
I love this, the only thing is it's discouraging when I can't do the back flip..😩
Don’t worry, just keep working on your arm and core strength and keep in trying😀🙌

at 21:50 is difficult for me for I have a golfers elbow
Well, take it easy, maybe some parts of the class can be skipped, the most important thing is to listen to your body and how the asana (pose) feels :)
