Charles Johnson, probably the kindest, sweetest soul I've ever met. Humble man. I had the pleasure of buying him a diet coke at a gospel singing years ago in Florida. He was standing by himself way in the back of the open field where they had the stage set up at. I walked up and looked up at him , shook his hand and asked him if I could buy him something to drink, he said " a diet coke." Now, mind you, I'm only 5'4". He was a big man compared to me. I went and got it, brought it back and handed it to him. He smiled and said "Thank you so much". We exchanged a few words, I shook his hand again and I left him to his business. I know he was preparing himself to get on stage. He expended a lot of energy while singing. I mean, that brother left it all on the stage, so to speak. What a voice. Many, many years of singing and ministering for the Lord. I'm glad I got to meet Bro. Charles in person while he was still down here on earth. I know I'll recognize him when I see him again. God sure used him mightily.
He was a very humble man , My Husband & I enjoyed our Fellowship with him & his group several times throughout the years, a strong Man of God . Thank you Father for the Fellowship and Worship it was Glorious . Glory be to God Amen, 🙏❤️🔥✝️🌿🕊️🍃🙌
