Glad to see another perspective of this event. I was on cars 4145 and 2227 that day as a motorman and conductor.
Thank you for your service as a volunteer! You all made our experience extra special. Everyone we met at the museum was wonderful!
Awesome video Steve
Thanks, Steve!
Thanks a lot !!
You are welcome!
Does the museum use the PA trolley guage tracks
Yes it does.
@@sctransit dumb question I know but I just wanted to ask
@@zazaranger5 Not a dumb question at all. The trolley museum in Scranton, PA is standard gauge.
what is trolley gauge?
@@musicman8942 O scale.
Is the overhead on the models live or what?
Or what?? Yes the overhead wire and the third rail is 12 volts DC.
@@sctransit Thanks. Neat to find out it's working overhead power.
Nice video. The real trolleys seem to be going too slow (understandable) and the model cars go too fast.
To be fair, our rule book says track speed in the yard is limited to 5mph. The mainline is limited to 30, but most operators never need to go track speed unless they're making up for lost time.
