      thanks so much for this series - really well put together and so helpful.
      I've never been able to understand/explain how "type" fits into overload. The other elements of FITT are very clear, but less so with overloading a type. Are u able to expand on what you say in the video?

      @@adamhorgan8380 For example, your chosen sport may be high jump. To improve you would probably use plyometric training to gain more power/strength to jump higher. Overload in this case could be jumping 1.5m (just an example). Plyometric training could help you reach this goal whereby you have reached a new level. However if you trained using continuous training, you may never achieve overload (complete your goal of 1.5m) because it's not suited towards high jump.

    Just wanted to let you know, that you repeated Progression in the SPORT training principles. You used it instead of reversibility.
