thanks so much for this series - really well put together and so helpful. I've never been able to understand/explain how "type" fits into overload. The other elements of FITT are very clear, but less so with overloading a type. Are u able to expand on what you say in the video?
@@adamhorgan8380 For example, your chosen sport may be high jump. To improve you would probably use plyometric training to gain more power/strength to jump higher. Overload in this case could be jumping 1.5m (just an example). Plyometric training could help you reach this goal whereby you have reached a new level. However if you trained using continuous training, you may never achieve overload (complete your goal of 1.5m) because it's not suited towards high jump.
