Best second Magnet? First pulls with Muscular Magnetics 2625lb magnet fishing magnet - it's a beast!

I just got this huge magnet off Amazon from Muscular Magnetics. I have been magnet fishing with other magnets, but I wanted something a little more serious now that I know I enjoy the hobby. I figured a 2625lb pull double sided magnet would be effective for a strong magnet. Yeah. it is. pretty much overkill on the stuff I have gotten with it so far. I can't wait to find something huge to pull with it.

I just ordered this as well but I ordered it direct from the company. Yes, Amazon is easier but they also take a large portion of the sale. Help small businesses and buy direct from the company! Great video Looks awesome I just got a single-sided 2000lb. How does the double-sided do as far as heavy things in the water?

Since I don’t have both to compare, I cannot say, but it really comes down to how much surface contacts each other. Flat to flat is the best. Flat to round not so much. Good luck!!! Let us know what you find!

Seen videos of magnetic fishing never seen anyone do it live, do you need a fishing license ? Betting you do if you use a hook.

In USA, pretty much everywhere, you don't need any kind of license or permit to magnet fish, so long as you're not on private property, you're good to go. Off a boat launch? Sure! Fishing pier? Off sea wall, or over side of bridge no problem!
