hi, IT. May I ask about the datedif function? The age calculation will show minor difference if I use cell (B2- cell D4)/365 and round the number, with the formula datedif? it is because not every year has exactly 365 days....so how to avoid such scenario and get a more precise age number?

All along following this lesson, I faced only one problem, and it was this hashtag ######## error. I recently found out that it's not an error, and the following information is from Google: The "hashtag" error, a string of hash or pound characters like ####### is not technically an error, but it looks like one. In most cases it indicates the column width is too narrow to display the value as formatted. And I am in the middle of the lesson now, 3:48:26 this is where I'm stopped at yhe moment. Beautiful teacher, awesome content, incredible teaching method. Wish I had Deb as my IT teacher in my school. May god bless you and the SimonSezIT community for sharing the knowledge with us. I really like the teaching style and lessons from Simon Sez, especially this instructor. I signed up for their Excel Business Analysis course because it had a lot of great worksheets (and others like MS Project, Alteryx, etc,). Just wish they had these instructions when I started out using the different software (I just find it too challenging to learn from books, or web articles, which was my primary learning method years ago).

But I want to point in that part 6:47:30 while you mentioned the second sorting will work if we compared two names with the same initial letters -in the first sorting-. But that is actually incorrect, In order to see the difference we must compare two identical names, here we can look to the second sorting to make sure from the result.

I noticed an error with the 2 way look up, luckily I was able to solve it by swapping the arguments in the index function. I wonder why it worked In the video though. Because I'm using a lower version of Excel, I was only able to practice the dynamic array functions with Google Sheets, no problem because I still had the course files to upload and learn. Excellent course, Excellent teaching method. Thank you for adding the course resources. This is the best tutorial I've ever taken, I'm now very confident using spreadsheets! I don't comment a lot on TH-cam, but I'll be an Ingrate not to show my appreciation to this tutor and this channel. This course is worth a fortune!

Great video! By the way, when it comes to PEDMAS/BODMAS, Deb should have mentioned that multiplication and division (as well as subtraction and addition) have the same precedence and it is evaluated from left to right.
5:35:07 there is a mistake here, because Debbie Wolf is said to be from *Canadata* and not from Canada. So in the actual sheet the formula seems wrong. But in the next frame you corrected it for the video. My question is - how do we make it search even with a grammatical error?
The eomonth and edate files the last instructor's files in the intermediate level are not included in the free exercise. But so far, so thankful!!! I'm heading now to the advance but I will watch video about eomonth and edate first. I will be back again to say thank you after I finished your whole video tutorial. ❤❤❤

i have a doubt at 8:10:06 where the instructor unlocks the cell from Absolute to Relative... since it's leap year in 2022... HOW can the next year also be a leap year?!!(if you can see below). i would try and workout if i had working file for this 😐 Other than that she's so good :)

Do you have the practice file?
All along following this lesson, I faced only one problem, and it was this hashtag ######## error. I recently found out that it's not an error, and the following information is from Google:
The "hashtag" error, a string of hash or pound characters like ####### is not technically an error, but it looks like one. In most cases it indicates the column width is too narrow to display the value as formatted.
And I am in the middle of the lesson now, 3:48:26 this is where I'm stopped at yhe moment. Beautiful teacher, awesome content, incredible teaching method. Wish I had Deb as my IT teacher in my school. May god bless you and the SimonSezIT community for sharing the knowledge with us. Thank you❤

Wonderful and helpfully thorough presentation. I learned alot. The British accent was a bonus, as any serious topic spoken with a British accent makes the topic suddenly sound more intellectually sophisticated lol

I really like the teaching style and lessons from Simon Sez, especially this instructor. I signed up for their Excel Business Analysis course because it had a lot of great worksheets (and others like MS Project, Alteryx, etc,). Just wish they had these instructions when I started out using the different software (I just find it too challenging to learn from books, or web articles, which was my primary learning method years ago).

But I want to point in that part 6:47:30 while you mentioned the second sorting will work if we compared two names with the same initial letters -in the first sorting-. But that is actually incorrect,
In order to see the difference we must compare two identical names, here we can look to the second sorting to make sure from the result.

I noticed an error with the 2 way look up, luckily I was able to solve it by swapping the arguments in the index function. I wonder why it worked In the video though.
Because I'm using a lower version of Excel, I was only able to practice the dynamic array functions with Google Sheets, no problem because I still had the course files to upload and learn.

5:35:07 there is a mistake here, because Debbie Wolf is said to be from *Canadata* and not from Canada. So in the actual sheet the formula seems wrong. But in the next frame you corrected it for the video.

The eomonth and edate files the last instructor's files in the intermediate level are not included in the free exercise. But so far, so thankful!!!
