Stopped by a few months ago. Possibly the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever seen in a charming building. Guess I expected it to show its age, but no. Just the nicest friendliest staff, as well. Deceptively simple yet delicious burgers and I will definitely visit again next time I’m in Wisconsin.
We used to go to Solly’s when I was a lad & we went swimming at Lincoln park when the pool was located off of Glendale Ave on south side of the park by the parking lot.
The Butter Burgers was good back in the 90’s but now with so many ppl in bad health conditions it’s a heart attack waiting to happen, but maybe a 1x per year would be a great treat 🥰🌈❤️
All You have to do is leave off the onions and the bread and you have a PERFECTLY designed carnivore meal!!!! Guarantee it!!!!!☝️🙄

Yeah, Solly's is "OK", not great though. Not a fan of butter so maybe that's why I feel this way. My wife (we used to live in Whitefish Bay before moving back here to Cali after retirement) LOVED Solly's. But my choice, right south of them was Kopp's! Good gracious THOSE sirloin burgers at Kopp's were the absolute best.
Neither Russia nor metro Milwaukee needs McDonald's (or Starbucks) when it comes burgers. My congrats to Solly's 👍. I've known about Solly's but never been there. That must change. Best burger thus far I've had is the Ugly Burger and Ugly's bar downtown.

They don't go easy on the butter, because they like it smothered, they like it covered, like your Waffle House hashbrowns.
