‘Experiencing Symbols - as tool for vital and psychic education’ - a workshop from Know Your Rhythm training program, offered a collective experience of understanding the inner dynamics of what a symbol signifies and how it may be embodied.
The plenary talk and interactive workshop was led by Arnab Bishnu Chowdhury, senior researcher, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, composer, therapist and founder, Know Your Rhythm (www.ninad.in).
The participants experienced and expressed variety of symbols with words, meditation, mantra chanting and body movements. The symbols included AUM, Auroville’s logo, AUM Namah Shivaya mantra, ‘Shiva - the Lord of Transformation’ as the Mother beautifully affirms. ‘Who is a teacher? Is a teacher a symbol too?’ 150 teachers of Auroville were encouraged to ask themselves these deep questions
