全国アイドルオーディションリアリティショー 「SELECTION PROJECT」
今年で第7回目を迎えるこのオーディションを勝ち抜いた少女たちは、皆等しく華々しいデビューを飾り、
国内外を問わず人気を博している。
全国アイドルオーディションリアリティショーでは、
北海道、東北、北関東、南関東、関西、中部、中国、四国、九州・沖縄の
全国9つの地区予選を勝ち抜いた少女たちが、 本選オーディションに挑む姿を
ドキュメンタリー映像やLIVE配信で追いかけていく。
そして少女たちの勝敗を決めるのは、リアリティショーを視聴しているユーザーからの投票《エール》のみ。
数多くの投票《エール》を受けて、オーディションを勝ち抜き、
アイドルとしてデビューする栄冠を手にするのはいったい誰なのか！？

幼い頃から病弱だった彼女は、病室のベッドの中で何度も灯の歌を聴いた。
たくさんの笑顔と勇気をくれた彼女の歌声。

中学校最後の夏、鈴音は夢を叶えるために、

すずれなが三つ編みお揃いなのみて、お互いに髪を編んであげたりしてたのかもって考えたら尊さ爆発した。
So not only did we get flawless CGI music scenes in this anime, but we're also blessed with top-tier music scenes fully made in 2D as well?! I've never been this impressed by an idol anime before.
I'm not into idol anime too, but Zombie Land Saga was catching my attention before. And now Selection Project. I just love everything about them, the character design, their voices, their songs, music videos, everything is top notch!
For me it becomes even more better when I'm told cgi is involved and even now I can't notice it

In my opinion, this is the best song in Selection Project so far, on par with "Butterfly Bright" performed by Suzu and Rena!

This is what I really want for Japanese idol anime. Trending and realistic fashion, hairstyle. Catchy and trending song.Good 2D animation and art. Realistic character design. OMG I'm so in love with this anime.
I love the production built to this song, just feel pretty special because this is the first song that the 9 of em sang together and Damn they delivered well. Don't know if this is the best song in SP but its definitely up there.

Man this show is so cute, the songs are better than I was expecting too! I’m not a big idol anime person but this was really well done and written cohesively with real character conflict. I wouldn’t mind watching a drama like this in real life… I guess it’s like a more personal miss America contest?

Felt really good to see all 9 of them perform after that conflict with Suzune. Glad that she got over her funk and is more determined than ever to succeed in the competition.

Pretty sure Suzune's heart donor is Akari, not sure if it's been revealed earlier but Rena showing Suzune her donor card and her being Akari's sister kinda leads me to that conclusion. It would also be a very similar situation to Idoly Pride where Sakura received Mana's heart
i also thought the same at first but actually suzune was too young !! during bb suzu and rena were shown crying over photo books of akari after her death and they were already teenager

I like how their songs feel modern (and almost K-POP-like, which I like very much!)
The song was great, the video was great and I also technically liked the costume design as always. But one small critcism would be that I find it a bit odd that there are several characters with costumes (swimsuits in this case) that clearly protect the specific region that was the center piece of the drama for the last two episodes. The resolution of that drama was actually nice, so it feels a bit sad that they didn't translate that into the costumes for the song.
Same thought I was sitting here like they said there weren’t any solutions but to make one and then I see Rena and I’m like………..
If I wanted to justify it I know that in actual production costumers select specific pieces for certain cast mates based on sponsorships and sizing buuuut 1 this is an anime and 2 they didn’t say that was the issue that she was being asked to wear something specific they said “there are no options that you want” and there were??? It would’ve made so much more sense if the whole cast was actually in suits but I’m glad they didn’t cause the costumes were so cute! And btw realistic to modern beach fashion choices
Well the first thing I notice is that everyone changes their swimsuit compared to their first swimsuit pick last episode. Also as entertainer and in Japan (and Korea too I guess) it is kinda taboo to show some kind of physical flaw. Having 'full' body is okay as long as it looks good but something like surgery mark would be bad. People can be cruel sometimes.

The problem isn't that they don't want to show it. The problem is that 2 episodes revolved around the fact that there was no swimsuit that Suzune could have used that hides her scar. So much that she would have to completely drop out since she can't perform. Which is why they made one themselves. But now several of them are wearing outfits that would have totally worked for Suzune, so the whole conflict seems kind of pointless.
@@Modie First thing first is that they don't know that Suzune has surgery scar and probably haven't experienced seeing someone so sick they needed a transplant so they just don't put surgery scar in the available reason. Second, Suzune avoided the talk or even the topic of swimsuit from get go so she tried to refuse wearing one. Because Suzune stopped her thought process there, she herself doesn't reach the idea to get one that cover their chest part. Next Rena only make a hint in vague way so no one would be able to catch on the problem, I think she is a bit affected with Suzune's thought process as well since she stopped in the wearing and not wearing.
Technically speaking, during the first shooting the staff most likely won't be able to get a swimsuit that covers the chest part even if Suzune were to ask, so the other aren't wrong that there are only 'those' swimsuit available. Of course there is the chance that the staff can possibly find one asap if Suzune were to make a request for one, but since Suzune herself stopped thinking at the Yes and No on swimsuit... well, things happen.

That wasn't what had happened though. Suzune chose a school swimsuit first so she clearly was looking for a swimsuit that can just cover the scar. Then she wore a swimsuit but put over a shirt. Then they even asked the crew if Suzune could just not wear a swimsuit but they said it's part of the second challenge. And lastly when presenting the remade swimsuit, they said there wasn't any swimsuit that covered the scar so they had to make one. Again, I am not disliking the general performance, but the performance crew and the plot crew didn't really talk to each other it feels. That was already noticeable in previous episodes, but here it was obvious.
