⬇️ I remember when I listened to this album that I had brought one afternoon in a café/bar in the city center of a big city... in 2000. I was told that it was a sound too far ahead of its time!... ...A weird sound !
As everyone has said in the comments on here this IS the greatest garage track ever made.. This is one track that NEVER needs remixing..MJ cole is a legend..
It would be even deeper if like me, you always knew this was deep, and then actually lived the subject matter. I was thinking of doing something with someone the other day, then I remembered, be sincere.
I didnt know many people who listened to 2step or garage back then in Brisbane Australia, 1 DJ on ZZZ radio had a 2step garage show and one pop up and dissapear club in Fortitude Valley played it, i had a whole shoebox full of 2step mix cds at the time all copied off the internet which was a lengthy process at the time, feels good to be alive so many years later watching all these clips now, give a big smile to those who need one if you loved this music back then!
Truly one of the era defining tunes that has stood the test of time better than most of us old garage heads that shuffled and two stepped the night away without any concern of what lay ahead in life, just the next joint that dropped and who you woke up with the next afternoon. Peace and keep loving each other. D
thank you, blessed algorithm, i needed this today* of all days... had the pleasure of seeing MJ play this towards the end of his set at Creamfields some time in the late 90s/early 00s (as i got in the tent early for Basement Jaxx that followed him); i was always more of a househead than a garageboi back then, but there's a select few undeniable classics that i always had time for, back then as still now (*6th nov 2024, trump's back in the big boy seat, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...)
I’m so happy I heard this on the radio few weeks ago, I’m surprised I never heard it before gets played at least 3 times a day now. Can’t find another one like it
And never a mention of the amazing vocalist that was a massive part of this tunes success. Top notch vocalist whom I met and had a great chin wag when she performed at my mates event in Sydney at Hugos. Amazingly funny saaaarf London lady that received nothing at all for the success of this record bar a vocal session fee. She was staying in a backpackers in Sydney during her stay ffs. Wrong but I suppose that's the way it goes and she was very accepting of the fact. Massive tune that i love to listen too and of course love to let people know. Music by MJ Cole and ??? Where is the credit even? Wrong in my opinion.
Music really is the gift that keeps on giving, just when we you think we've found your groove, you find something completely new! me as a child conceived in the summer of love.

You don't know how good a tune is until it becomes timeless, Number one UK Garage tune ever.
I remember going to the club in 2002/2003 listening to this. The entire floor went nuts when it was played. This track is timeless….
Perfect sound of London ❤ regardless of the genre and bpm.. Soulful funk, sweet bass and angelic vocals
🤩Be Sincere!............. TUNE!!
Heard Spoony play this at a party in London in 2000! Gave me goosebumps... still does.

If MJ does a concert after pandemic I'd definitely buy a ticket 😊😊 loving her music 👌👌
MJ Cole is the guy who produced this track, the lady is Elisabeth Troy who guests over this track and a couple of MJ’s other tracks

Geoff D mans in the UK know who she is.. Its Elizabeth troy.. She was doing jungle tracks way before this track was released for mj cole.
@@silverbackdp The vocalist was sampled from a vocal sample cd. It is Jaydee and Nova casper. Elizabeth troy fronted it
