You should paint match the interior trim wood finish to the maroon paint color
shelving brother,,lotsa shelving :) leave the spring black so u dont have to worry about the paint flaking off,and it would look sweet black spring and red strut imo
Ryan when you buy the paint ask them for flex agent to mix in the paint for the springs it makes the paint flexible

You can paint coil spring. You need to use a bumper flex primer then paint then it will be forgiving and accept the travel of the spring. I've done it numerous times and it works wonders.

Leave the springs black and paint the struts red. Get that black and red mix and avoid the paint flaking on the springs
Yes 100%. The red strut will help the black spring pop. Plus the red strut will tie the red control ars together 😁
I would suggest putting a bolt or covering the bolt holes in the suspension when you paint it. Paints not that thick so it probably won't be an issue but it might make it difficult to put some of the bolts. Anyways love the vids and the Tahoe is coming out sick! Keep it up!

An additional carbon front splitter on the hellcat would look sick, and keep you from scratching the painted bumper.

I'd do the strut paint match that way you'll have a separation between the control arm and strut with the spring being black

When you crank up the front suspension on the Hellcat. How did that effect the ride and the handling. Think about doing it to my Charger R/T . Cant wait to see the Tahoe raised with the tire and wheels on. I don't know how you figured all these different parts for the lift kit. That tells me you have to much time on your hands ! Lol ! We can put the blame on Corona Virus for our lives being upside down.

The 7 inch lift will definitely clear the 35s, I got leveling kit only on my Silverado 09 and barely had to cut

I think you should keep the springs black and paint the struts red. I think that way everything will pop more because the colors will be separated

The bds drop cross member is only 4” of drop they use the same cross member for the 4” and the 6” so you lower control arm angle is gonna be steep but can’t wait to see it done man!
Same thing with the RC lift! The people in the Carolinas take that 7.5” lift and stretch it to well over 10” and lean it wayyyy back! 😂😂

You should try to get a crossmember and diff drop from mcgaughy. They are a full 6.5in drop maybe they at least have them laying around somewhere
@@ryan2546 BDS is 4.5" LCA drop. Rough country is 5" LCA drop.
I'm in the process of doing the rough country 7.5" on my 08 tahoe right now and went with the vertex coilovers. It's currently sitting 2" higher in the front than it should (and 2" higher than the rear) so i'm waiting on the adjustment tool to try and get it where it needs to be. It has zero down travel so i would expect it to ride like crap. I'm also only running 20x10's and 33's. Rough Country said that i'm sitting 2" higher because i'm 2wd (no weight of front diff) but i don't quite believe that. Either way there's about 5-6 threads of adjustment left on the vertex coilover so hopefully that will get me down 2" for a better ride.

If the suspension system on the hellcat was fully adjustable, you wouldn't have to crank on the springs. The bottom mount of the coilovers would be threaded to drop the main housing and keep springs at the same preload. Gonna ride like shit.
