Its amazing that with all those percussive attacks, slaps and flamencoes at lightning speed how each note rings out so clear like a bell, the marks of a true legend.
This man is a treasure for the Christian Musicians in the world. He is respected in both Christian and Commercial music circles.... I had chance to attend one of this bass clinic back in the mid 90's at Anaheim Vineyard Church. He hardly spoke about bass technic, but more about your passion for music and give Glory to God.
@Galériant but where do you think sheehan, wooten and so many others got it from? they all listened to this man right here! there's a reason why he also was the most sought after studio musician plus clinician.
Thank GOD someone caught this on camera...this is one of the best solo electric bass performances in the history of the instrument. Mind blowing on every level. God Bless Mr. Laboriel, and may he continue to delight everyone around him for many, many more years to come.
"E só posso dizer uma coisa..há no mundo inteiro muitos baixistas bons e consideráveis..........e o Abraham Laboriel é considerado o Pai dos baixistas........é um dos melhores do mundo..........se não for o melhor.............
It’s worship to Him as He plays you could see the joy as he plays He always is an inspiration to ALL Bass players out there ; the groove and rhythm not just the technicality of his playing Absolutely wonderful every time I see a vid of him playing Hallelujah !!
Mr Laboriel is such an inspiration to watch and listen too. His music is spiritual; not just technique, skill, or any of those other components musicians seek to enhance their playing. Absolutely genius in every aspect of his musicianship! What a guy!
the guy in the back is really excited about witnessing such an amazing solo, and look at how tenderly his (probably wife) touches his shoulder at 3:34 :D
yes, he's the founder and builder of wyn basses. to have a bass legend such as grandmaster abraham laboriel play on your hand build bass guitar like that must have been the best feeling in the world for him at that very moment.
Met Abe when I was hangin' out with Victor Bailey right after Jaco died, thought he was amazing then, and just as amazing now! Just makes you love the bass even more!
you've got be kidding????? Abe's played with everyone, Michael Jackson and he's been wanted by all of the top artists for their sessions. He knows exactly what he's playing.
I love this man, I am an avid bass player and a very big Jaco fan, and I have been playing bass for 30 years and this performance brought me to tears. The style and everything is so amazing. Just wow.
I really respect Abraham Laboriel, and used to enjoy his playing with Al Jareau, but this stuff really doesn't move me personally, except on a technical level. I know how phenomenal he is, but I guess I like tidiness with complexity. No doubt ALL the stars know him, they all learned from him! but still - as I said this stuff with Wyn? no way. give me Him and his Son (Jnr) playing "Quiet Space" any day - or anything but this.
no lie,!!! this made me tear... God bless you Abe
There's only one Abe Laboriel. God bless him.
Its amazing that with all those percussive attacks, slaps and flamencoes at lightning speed how each note rings out so clear like a bell, the marks of a true legend.

Well played!! Always an uplifting and exciting thrill to hear you play Abe!!!
Que Maravilha Que técnica. Expressão de sentimento. Alegria com arte em combinação.
❤❤❤
This just ruined every other bass player!! incredible. the diversity of playing is...no words.
Did they pay extra to see this concert?! OMG -- for real.

When Abe starts slappin' you'd better clear the area because he can't stand still. Love this guy. What a gift to the world of music!
This is it. search no further, ( with all due respect to the other greats: Graham, Clarke, etc ) worlds best bassist right there.
@Galériant but where do you think sheehan, wooten and so many others got it from?
they all listened to this man right here!
there's a reason why he also was the most sought after studio musician plus clinician.
andrew bintang jaco and jamerson had a way bigger influence than laboriel did, especially on guys who played jazz, funk and even rock.
@Galériant .... Predictable, white guy tries to insert a white guy into the conversation.
@@benjamingutierrez2191 That's because their style is easier and more accessible so more people can play like them.
IGNANT TV despite the fact that jaco has recorded some of the hardest bass lines ever and jamerson has pioneered the melodic style of playing a bass.
From what planet they flew this dude in from? AWESOME!!!!
This guy is a big inspiration for me him Stanley Clark, Victor Wooten, Louis Johnson, Marcus Miller , Les Claypool.
Praise God! We are blessed tp see this man of God ministering by way of his music :)
It's weird to see most famous bassist are white rockers while the sickest bassists are black and nit very well known, specially in funk and jazz.
26 people meant to say, Dis-I-Like
I would like to see Abe and John Myung from dream theater do a bass song together(:

Que por sinal é um grande fã de Laboriel.
Thank GOD someone caught this on camera...this is one of the best solo electric bass performances in the history of the instrument. Mind blowing on every level. God Bless Mr. Laboriel, and may he continue to delight everyone around him for many, many more years to come.

yeah that's Randy Wyn Fullmer, he built the bass he's playing, it must be a rewarding feeling.
yes, he's the founder and builder of wyn basses.
