This was one of the best Les Twins interviews. The interviewer was fantastic and I appreciated the fact that she didn’t waste time asking them a bunch of personal questions. She kept it professional and they also had fun. Well done.
The beauty of this interview is that she asked questions and THEY answered and had a conversation. It didn't drag because she let them goes as long as they needed to answer and the questions were explanation oriented questions.

But, I guess it's because they still have insecurities that disenables them to admit when someone else may actually be better in their craft than they are.... Just a thought. Actually - they've explained how they were introduced to MJ before. They grew up poor (in the ghettos of Paris) and didn't have a TV until age 8. Already, proficient dancers, they saw MJ on TV at the age of 8 and thought (jokingly, I'm sure) he was their father because he danced so much like them... and because they never knew their dad. Their influences before then - apart from their older brothers and sisters - were cartoons and martial arts. If you look at their earlier dancing - when they were still kids - you'll see how they were basically human cartoon characters. After they discovered MJ he too became one of their influences but he was never one of their stronger influences. Bruce Lee was a much stronger (dance) influence to them. Living in America, I know it's hard to imagine MJ not being a bigger influence to kids who turn out dancing like Les Twins but the world is a big place! My family is from Africa and I can tell you right now - the type of dancing you'll find in that part of the world is incredible and many of them have no idea who MJ is - still.
