Voice of Baceprot (pronounced 'bah-che-prot') often abbreviated as VOB - are an Indonesian all-female rock band formed in Garut, West Java in 2014. [1][2][3] Consisting of young hijab-wearing trio Firdda Marsya Kurnia (vocals and guitar), Widi Rahmawati (bass), and Euis Siti Aisyah (drums), the word "baceprot" from their band name comes from the Sundanese language meaning "noisy". It was chosen to represent the type of music that they play.
they are a school band, just learned a music instrument in 2014, and they learned music from the teacher at their school. with limited musical instruments too,
they are live in a village very far from the frenzy of metal rock music, initially they were forbidden to make music by their families, because there women were not used to playing music let alone rock music, VOB therapy persisted despite many rejections in the community. around them. they kept fighting and their video playing music was re-tweeted by Flea RHCP and Tom Morello RATM. This month they are on a European tour and next year they were invited to play on the Wacken Tour in Germany and Ceko Republic

I suspect VoB chose this song due to the lyrics and message of it. If you look at their choices of covers and even with their originals you see a pattern there. The only problem is that they are not prolific songwriters, like say The Warning. They do have something new that's circulating, it's called "Not Public Property":
