- We're at 25,000 feet altitude and flying in a Bf109K-4. It seems to float around pretty well at this altitude.

Froggy, when you say the K 'floats pretty well" what do you mean? I've read pilots' accounts that say the plane floats about at high altitude, and it wasn't meant as a compliment.
Nah I basically mean it stays aloft well even in thin air. By comparison if you try fly a Cessna 150 to this altitude, youll get about half way there and not be able to climb further.
It needs a damage model ASAP. Even graphically.

DCS have modelled wing cannon switches in the cockpit. I hope they implement them on the wings? The single 20 mm through the spinner needs more oomph against the B17. You did well not to get hammered by the B17's 50 cal gunners, they are pretty good!

Sorry to ruin your fun, but that's a 109 F or early G variant. Not a K faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from being a K version. Like. As far as the defiant is from being a useful plane. I'm not gonna blame it on the creator, but on who ever modeled the aircraft. The canope is wrong, the (don't know the English word) top of the nose part is wrong, the radiators are wrong, the shape of the nose is wrong, the tail is a bit off. God damn what about this 109 model doesn't suck
what? you might want to Google the pictures of the K variant, the model is spot on. The canopy is the Erla Haube variant which were implemented from G-10 variant and above, the bulge on the gun mount area above the nose which often be seen from the ordinary G-6 was eliminated and the nose shape was refined to decrease drag, as we can see on the model, I don't know much about the radiators but I thought the 109 radiators looked the same across the board with some upgrades on later variants. The tail rudder area is slightly taller due to changes from the G-10 variant and also a retractable tail wheel introduced on the K-4
