I feel like Godot is a reference to the expression "Waiting for Godot" which means "waiting for something/someone that will never arrive", Godot was waiting for Mia after the coma and she never arrived

I think it’s a dual reference.
Another couple interesting things about Godot:
- He references the play "Waiting for Godot" in several of his lines. A lot of the weird analogies or proverbs he says are paraphrases of lines from the play itself.
- In the play, the character Godot never appears, and the two main characters sometimes question who he really is, or if Godot exists at all.
It's fitting, since the character in the game is unknown to everyone, and since Godot is just a secret identity, he doesn't really exist.
THIS HURT ME
One thing you missed with Phoenix Wright is also the Phoenix part, as every case is considered a turnabout, as in things get bad but then he turns them around, as though a phoenix rising from the ashes. Also, with the Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies stories, he falls from grace, but then rises again to become a lawyer once more.
I find it also fitting because of Dhurke, who's basically the Khura'inese version of Phoenix Wright, but a revolutionaire.
They both were framed for forgery and fell from grace as a result, both adopted a Gramarye, both have a blue color scheme, strange eyebrows and have something to do with dragons: Wright's last name in Japanese is Ryuchi, "a dragon", and Dhurke is.. Dhurke. A dragon who never yields.

One correction about Terry Fawles:
His name is supposed to sound like "Teary Falls", not "There he falls". This can be confirmed by his Japanese name "Onamida Michiru", literally "Full of Tears"
Terry's also a "fall guy" in the case, giving the name an additional meaning!

I laughed out loud when it was revealed in the third trial in spirit of justice that the zehlots *real name* was "Rheel Neh'mu" (real name).
Godot's name is also a referencing to play about two men waiting to meet a man who never arrives (whose name is shockingly Godot). Luke Atmey and Godot actually reference this when Luke says "some people spend their entire lives idly waiting for his appearance" and Godot says "there wasn't anyone waiting for me when I woke up". There's no real definition for who the man is supposed to represent but one interpretation is that Godot represents who you once were and can never be again.
Some thing I’d like to point out is: the name “Fey” comes from a Middle English word that means “fairy”. Fairies often have supernatural powers so this is a nod to the Fey family’s Spirit Channeling abilities. What’s more, Aunt Morgan Fey is a reference to Morgan Le Fay: a evil witch in the King Arthur legend who uses control, power and manipulation to try to get what she wants.
Additionally, Dahlia Hawthorne seems to represent a red Dahlia flower (due to her hair color). Red Dahlias symbolize betrayal and dishonesty (very fitting for her). Iris Hawthorne is, of course, named after the Iris flower which symbolizes hope, valor and trust (very fitting for her too)
Couple years late but I wanted to add hawthorn symbolism in, it’s said that bringing hawthorn blossoms inside would bring death soon after. Cutting down hawthorn trees (or just damaging them) would also bring bad luck.
It’s also great you brought up Fey = Fairy because hawthorn trees are the trees fairies (and spirits) tend to and protect.
And the surname Hawthorne has been closely tied to the Salem Trials and therefore witchcraft, which would be a different kind of magic than that of the Fey

Extra Fun Fact about Apollo and Athena: According to the Greek tragedy the Oresteia, Athena was the first judge, and Apollo was the first defense. The first prosecution were the Three Furies, although there really isn't any references to that in Ace Attorney unless you count a prosecutor being called a "demon prosecutor".

I always thought that Turner Grey meant something more like 'Turn Her Grey', alluding to the malpractice incident and how skin greys after death. It could have meant he was always a bad doctor and ended up with more dead patients than living ones. I've found a different take on Von Karma's name that probably makes more sense (courtesy of Ace Attorney Wiki). Apparently Manfred is a German name that means "man of peace" and karma is taken from the Japanese version of his surname "Karuma", (狩魔) the Japanese romanization for "karma". In kanji terms, "karu ma" (狩 魔) means "a demon who hunts". So yes, a peaceful man, taken in sarcasm (obviously due to his ruthless and corrupt prosecuting career and his hatred for Miles and his dad). As well as a demon who hunts for nothing but a guilty verdict to keep his name and legacy spotless, and is willing to do anything to keep such things.

In most of the names with multiple puns or meanings, you seem to have only used one of them. Miles for instance means soldier in Latin, and Edgeworth is also a reference to the prosecutor’s sword and shield. Edgy, his nickname, references his moody disposition.

I have two more to elaborate on: Klavier and Dahlia.
SPOILERS:
Klavier does means "piano", yes, but instead of being a commentary gag on his rock lifestyle and career, it's actually a joke hidden in one of Apollo's themes (can't remember which one but I'm sure with enough effort it can be found). In one of Apollo's themes, you can faintly hear a PIANO playing a slowed version of "Guilty Love" (Klavier's theme) on the track. So, Klavier, the piano, is playing a piano version of his theme on Apollo's song. I'd like to think it's present due to the connection of both Apollo and Klavier's stories and their differing personalities.
Dahlia Hawthorne is much, much more complex, but after dissecting the meaning of her name, it all makes sense now. A dahlia is a beautiful, usually pink flower, hence why she wears pink, and flowers represent delicacy, fragileness, and beauty most times as a symbol (that part seems obvious, I know), but her last name is really the kicker.
The Hawthorne effect in psychology is basically the fact that people will change their behavior simply because they're being watched. Dahlia modified and hid her true self because she knew that she was being watched or observed for any behavior that could provide evidence that she committed both murder and attempted murder. She took on the demeanor of an innocent, sweet, lovely young lady that could do no harm, and she relied on her outward appearance to do so. So, all in all, she is a beautiful illusion that hid her true self, or a fragile illusion, because once she was discovered for who she truly was, it wasn't hard to see her breakdown after that.
These names make Saul Goodman seems like he could fit in Ace Attorney 😂😂

It’s a very subtle way to say “he died” as well by making him, an aspiring astronaut who associates with people with celestial names, a person with a literal earthly name.

I always refer Datz as "That's airball" because he sometimes mentioned basketball stuff
I always referred to him as "That's horrible" due to him usually being mischievous.
I get two references out of Datz. First, as listed, and most readily apparent: That's a Rebel. The second only makes sense in the final case of the game regarding the Founder's Orb: That's Our Ball.
Ron Delight is a reference to the drink "Sunny delight" which is also known as Sunny D, the brooch that mask demaske is wearing has a sun on it, and speaking of mask, mask the mask, meaning to put a mask on over an existing mask, and spoiler, Luke was giving orders to mask meaning that Luke put a mask over the mask he was already wearing, Ron was Luke's mask, and Demaske was Ron's mask

A lot of commenters have pointed out that there are even more than these. For a few I've thought of, which I haven't seen in the comments yet:
- The definitions of "fey" include "giving an impression of otherworldliness or mystery," "having supernatural powers or clairvoyance," or (less commonly) "fated to die." The first two definitions apply to the entire Fey family, and the last one also applies to Mia Fey.
- Mia and Maya both have names that sound like "my." Their names could both be a pun on "my fey," or in other words, "my clairvoyant."
- "Misty" could be a pun on "mystery," "mystique," "mystic," "mystical," or "missing," all of which apply to Misty Fey; she has mystical powers and officially goes by the title of Mystic, and it is a mystery why she went missing.
- Pearl Fey visibly resembles a pearl, from the shape of her eyes and head, and the colour of robes she wears. Also, a pearl is hidden inside of the oyster that makes it, and is unseen by the outside world until the oyster is removed. Pearl Fey is kept hidden from the world outside of her village, until her mother is taken away from her.
- "Edgeworth" could also be referencing that that Miles' worth is at the "edge," i.e., the top; "Edgeworth" could mean he is the best in his field. It's also possible that "Miles" refers to him being "miles ahead" of everyone else.
- Turner Grey could also mean "turn her grey," since he was known for driving Nurse Miney too hard, figuratively causing her to turn grey, and later leading to the death of her sister, who literally turned grey.
Alternatively, Turner Grey's name could reference the fact that he becomes a murder victim. Several of the victims have names that reference death. So, besides his hair turning grey, his skin would turn an ashen grey colour after he dies.
- Roland Berry's last name leads to his circus being called the "Berry Big Circus," a pun for "very big circus;" it could also refer to him being a murder victim, whom everyone needs to "bury." (

The wiki says that "Manfred" is a reference to an outstanding German pilot who was also referred to as demon during the WWII because of his talent. I think it's fitting. They both sure killed an awful lot of innocent people.
What is more fitting is that they both were defeated by a pilot/lawyer far less famous than themselves.
