Ok what am I missing. I am genuinely curious.... why do American silversmiths have soo many hammers? Do you use them all or are they just cool to have :)

Sanchia! Welcome to my channel… you’re right, we tend to have a lot of tools 🤣 For me, it’s both things… Fretz hammers are so well designed and comfortable to use so I had to have as many as I could get. I do actually use all of mine. I have a set for jewelry sized projects and then the full-sized set for home decor projects like decorative bowls and such. I have learned over the years to pick and choose the tools I buy because a lot of my earlier purchases have gone unused. New, shiny tools are attractive, but not always useful.

Hi Wendy!!!! Awwww… I’m missing my TY peeps too! I’m working on some new videos and trying to get some things straightened out on my website…. I’m sorry it has been so sporadic, but I have a new one coming this week!

@@JulessaScofieldMetalsmith Thank you so much for responding. I watch you on my 65 inch TV and I can't make comments from that mode, but I just wanted to say thank you for all of your efforts. They are really, greatly appreciated. I can't drive, pretty much homebound, so you are now my classroom:)
