    This is such a game changer for an Engineer/hobbyist like me, that doesn't have the time, money, or space for a HAAS mini mill

    Sounds great so far, I really like what you guys are doing so far. If this machine works like I anticipate it will, you guys won't be able to build them fast enough. I'm seeing a great deal of functionality and a really great price point. Hope you folks enjoy your Thanksgiving.

    If you get the assembly service will the co concrete and epoxy be included and done with that?

    I don't like how it drags the probe off the part when running the XYZ probe cycle after probing x and y. Does the same thing in the boss probe cycle.

    Now that the probe runout is set. Wouldn't you want to mark the spindle and probe so they index together the same way every time you use it. Why I say the is you are adjusting for probe and spindle runout at the same time.

      that wire coming out the side... that is very much your index...

    so the 995 option on the website means the entire machine comes assembled ? or does it mean someone comes out and assembles it ?

    Can the probe routines be added into a program using g-code or macros?
    This would be a good way to streamline multi-tool programs.

    I would like the MR-1 but I don’t have a garage. Would this be okay in my back yard under my porch?

    No upadate on video" how to dial in Tram" ?

    Can you guys add midplane support? For example If I want the datum to be the top center of a square part? I ran a Doosan with a Fanuc control and it had this feature.

      Also, I love your GUI and look forward to additional features. You guys are doing an amazing job. So intuitive unlike Fanuc controls which make you press 10 buttons before you can load a program.

    When probing a diameter or boss, does cut control display the measured size. Can we calibrate the probe using a ring gauge? Also is there a protection mode to stop the probe if you get an unexpected hit with the stylus before it reaches the measuring surface, or will it break the stylus. If not can these be feature requests for the team. Also do you enter the ruby diameter in a table so the probe knows when it's on center to the spindle?

      @LangmuirSystems  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Don. Regarding Bore/Diameter size no it does not display this but we will have this feature in a later release. Yes there are safeguards built into false triggers. As for the ruby diameter yes you can enter it in. The standard size is 0.1250" and these are extremely accurate from the factory to unlikely you will need to dial further but you can. We even have an area in the table to input the shaft flex compensation if you really want to dial it in well!

      @@LangmuirSystems Great videos so far! Are you able to tell us waht sort of repeatability or accuracy you are seeing with the Langmuir probe?

    • @LangmuirSystems
      @LangmuirSystems  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@craigjohnson5189 the step motion repeatability of MR-1 is 0.0005"...we are finding the probe and tool setter are able to repeat within this range when accounting for any other backlashes.
