@@patrickellis1151 wrong, I loathe Metallica. Keep working on your assumptions. Good jambands historically wrote great songs. The great song is the vehicle for the jam. Whether MMW, the Slip, ABB, Derek Trucks Band, Strangefolk, STS9, or Ominous Seapods it starts with great songwriting. This is saccharine crap and horrendous writing. It then becomes about the jam and not the song. The Disco Biscuits showed that formula doesn't work are it gets tired after a while. Eventually that will happen here too because these guys are half the musicians of DB.
