Jeff is a really good monster a solid A tier in my book. And I'm just happy he isn't broken he is balance strong. The biggest problems are what you said end game, if good players are alive, and loopers. So here is my tips that have been helping me get consistent lobby wipes. 1 avoid playing on maps with big open areas. His bad maps are Baldi schoolhouse, joy, pillars ( mainly because it can be difficult to find people) gobble run ofc Fazbear even tho it sounds good he is easily loopable in the dinning area. My world sometimes depends on how much good players are in the lobby. His decent maps are drainage forest black sun. The rest of the maps with a lot of corners are really good. 2 just like all monsters that struggle with good players take them out first when you get the chance. I always use silent stalker because if you find them doing an objective or in a room you can hit them try to read the movement and hit them again to finish them off. Take out the good players and you won't have problems winning. I say manical haste is fine it can definitely work on some maps like hide n seek but others this ability is eh. It is supposed to help to catch up with looppers but because it has a wind up and the wind up is loud and you if you don't hit the person you are chasing you will just run out and be stunned for a bit all of this let's the survivor runaway and get the stamina back. Overall he is a really good and very fun monster to play and very fun to go against he just takes a little time and skill to kill good players but once you get him locked down you can lobby wipe effiecntly. But like everg monster to much good players in a lobby yeah good luck seeing anyone win as monsters unless it's the best monsters in the game but even then sometimes.

But going up against him is a nightmare because of 1 specific thing for me, Jeff’s hit boxes are gigantic. Even if you see him sneaking juking ain’t an option cause his hit box is the size of Lizzio. There is more times than I can count where he pulls up on me I see him run away and despite being nowhere near me he must have the wing span of a Dang eagle cause I somehow get hit, safe to say I’m going back to the gold grind on pcx exe and inkfell.
Jeff feels similar to Samsonite in many ways. An absolutely brutal early game with lots of wipe potential, but once there's only a few players left who are no longer distracted by objectives they struggle to close the gap and get the kill.
The way I play against him is a use my legs, if he uses his haste ability I’ll run away so he can’t hit me. I hear him from a mile away. This makes him go so far behind me he usually gives up. He’s pretty good, his sneaky sneak might be a lil bit op…Or people kinda dumb and doesn’t see the like 5ft man crouching at them menacingly, because i literally wipe lobbies without touching maniacal haste
Something I’ve noticed about maniacal haste is that on maps with multiple entrances to area like tjoc or oni mansion, since he’s so loud, there’s a chance you won’t know which direction he’s coming from
Ngl I hate the PCX rework and the map reworks. the springtrap one also wasnt to good. at first I didnt like jeff but I think hes alright now. just kinda a hold W spam M1 type of dude from how I played him. Moving silently takes to much time mostly.
I’d say Jeff’s really good. He can do high damage, get a speed boost easily, and keep pace with survivors _very_ well. However, unless you’re close to him while he’s using maniacal haste, it’s really easy to lose Jeff around corners and such. I do think he’s a little _too_ good, but I think a simple attack cooldown nerf will do the trick.
I find him to be almost a better version of the mimic. They both have abilities that mark players on the map for a certain period of time, they both have the ability to stalk and ambush, and they both benefit from getting the drop on unsuspecting players. Now the reason Jeff is better is because both of his abilities mark survivors on the map, and while his stalk ability doesn't let him reduce his visibility, you still have 3rd person and corners that you can abuse to get the drop on players forced into 1st person. His rage ability is based off your ability to chain hits as well, but that rage ability gives you a near instantaneous speed boost with plenty of stam to catch any survivor you're after. Look at the mimic now, he is not weak by any means but he only has one way of marking nearby players, and his ascension ability while granting him incredible speed and stealth doesn't do anything for his damage unless you set up animal instincts with elder ascension. Hence, I think Mimic players who switch over to jeff are going to have undoubtedly an easier time making that transition. And Mimic is more than likely taking a backseat over the Jeff meta (which is just a natural thing to occur when a new character drops.)
Im ngl, JTK is the funnest monster they've released since Wyst in my honest opinion. I havent had a monster since wyst that has truly got my undivided attention like jeff has. I got burnt out of fuwatti abou 39 levels into his grind mostly because other monsters were more captivating, and though I went back and eventually golded him, it was a slog fest that made me just wanna play other monsters, Inkfell is solid but he's had a rough release, and he's been a backburner monster for me, despite having him gold too, he's not my priority I guess, PCX was PCX, and I love him but YEESH. Then jeff, i played pc2 for 11 hours straight after jeff released, then 9 hours the next day after I woke up, and im already lvl 48, and i've yet to be burnt out nor tired of Jeff. He's the perfect monster for me unironically, and I think i've already found a new main, Wyst been demoted.
As someone with about 100 hours and pc2 and already has Jeff to almost level 30. He is NOT bad in endgame… mostly. On maps like Schoolhouse, Forest, My world (sometimes) and gobblerun he can be easily looped by a competent player. But on just about every other map, all that’s needed is to use silent stalker and hide behind a wall. Or just literally walk up to them. Even in schoolhouse, the main chokepoints can be ruined by Jeff hiding in one of the nearby rooms which fills up his rage meter and allows him to easily catch a looper. I’ve done this multiple times to people who have characters leveled up to almost ninety and easily won the round. So honestly, I’d say he isn’t trash in endgame, just requires much more skill as you can’t just go stabby stabby, you just have to utilize Silent Stalker more.
Just add the ability to cancel maniacal haste. It will solve a lot of issues. As seen in the footage of this, and some other videos, Jeff is super loud during this ability, so in the endgame, players can literally avoid him from a distance, just by listening to where he is coming from. Having to wait out the duration so you can go stealth mode is annoying and takes a lot of time if you killed someone recently. Make it so pressing the button again makes ithe ability end manually and maybe have a slightly reduced cooldown.
I feel he is well.... Actually really hard for a normal player to run against or out stamina. I get he can be both really bad at endgame and kinda mid in open areas, but to be blunt, as a Jeff main, You can't loop him due to the Rage meter, you can't really out stamina him, and if he's on your tail then it's a 100% game over. Though open maps are his true weakness, but has some workarounds. Lobby wiping is super easy with him.
His first ability is die die situation fr, either get 70 dmg free or outrun them so fast and it's the only ability you need. Someone was lvl 75 jeff wiping everytime with this only ability but he had a team with his friend.
I feel like he could have 1 more ability then he would be perfect my idea would be if could start laughing and everyone nearby gets blinded by laughing jeff icons on their screen (similiar to springtrap vent error)
Jeff is aight, He’s not the most fun but he’s not the worst. He’s not overpowered or underpowered either. His abilities are fine and the skins are decent to say the least. (The Jeff skins are kinda overrated, specifically Slaughter)
Honestly my opinion on Jeff(from my limited playtime as and not so limited playtime against) is that he doesn't really feel rewarding unless you can get a mega large lobby when playing him and its kinda upsetting if the map has a long straight line(Like Gobble Run or Schoolhouse) that you can just completely outrun his Maniacal Haste. He's awesome in literally every other aspect other than his gameplay to me. If he gained a small but permanent speed boost when killing during Maniacal with a cap like Mimic, then I could see him feeling more rewarding when you can set up early game. Maybe you could call it "Maniacal Haste" because it is making you move fas- oh wait it's already called that.
Honestly i don’t like maniacal haste all too much. its severely easy to counter and usually is very inconsistent, usually being basically useless against competent players. i love playing this character, but i feel like they should’ve gone all in stealth. imo, maniacal haste just seems out of place.
I would say he is a good killer but the only con about him is that, he is the type of killer that can be juked a lot! but you will get better if you keep trying
Tbh, I find him not really that hard to counter imo. Realistically, a player who isn't stupid will corner map at the best map angle possible, so Jeff doesn't catch them offguard at all. Especially on maps like Black Sun & Drainage Don't walk around & wait for him to make the first move. Slient Stalker doesn't make you fully sneaky; you still emit a small breath that is audible if a player pays attention. He mainly just kills incompetent players. When he goes against competent players who actually pay attention & aren't stupid, they're looping him 100% of the time Combine all this with Stephano & you are not getting caught offguard. I really just find Jeff not a threat at all. If I see a Jeff user, I'm thinking "oh no, it's Jeff. Whatever shall I do..."
I love Jeff, I just have a problem with his speed it's suffering to try and catch up to somone, if they buff his speed a little that my fix the problem.
The only thing that should be changed is his hitbox size. Id trade a small amount of hitbox for more speed in crouch so that people are insentivised to use it more
i just find jeff annoying i did not play him yet due to me focusing on diamonding exe and pcx but what so far i have seen from jeff killers is them just wiping early game and end game hard all they gotta do is wait for the right moment crunch wait then get up and speed boost to you while you recharge your stm and tahts jsut a death sentence and whe i do my tasks due to my ping always being at 200+ when a jeff sneaks up on me while i do a task i always die due to my character not being fast enoth to get away
In my opinion i think jeff takes skill and on big maps like that pacman looking one withe the pellets and ultra pellets its almost impossible to wipe a server
In my opinion I hate Jeff. It might be due to me not being used to him yet but. He isn't fun to go against or play as. Although that reason might be due to me maining PCX as I like his speed.
Dawg we've seen this happen like multiple times now already, it happened with Inkfell, it happened with PCX, it's expected at this point whenever a new monster comes out.
Jeff is pretty good He feels stable and not annoying to go up against and he doesn't feel blatantly overpowered where you could just get a server wipe without extreme effort (I'M LOOKING AT YOU PCX) There's not much you could really do with a guy that has a knife but the game does something well with it that makes Jeff more captivating than PCX (Also Why does PCX gain more XP than most monsters, I'm level 38 already on my PCX make it make sense 💀😉) edit: Yes I'm Eggman guys i hate that hedgehog 👹
Jeff kinda does take effort, but literally his 2nd move can last almost the entire match (if people grouped up) and can literally kill 3 or 4 players (depending how many players are there) by just that one move because it buff your stamina or your dmg (idk) and when the move wears off, you can just go into stealth mode and start sneaking up on someone and then start attacking and when they run off your rage bar fills up and then you start chasing them literally giving you speed boost and easily kill the player and then boom server wipe. Jeff the killer does takes effort but barley, I can literally be in stealth almost the entire match and win. PCX (Now) literally takes skill and adapt, I’m not being biased but PCX literally got that inkfell treatment but worse. PCX is decent if you know what you’re doing. Jeff the killer release is gonna be PCX all over again
honestly I don’t really think Jeff is for me cuz like the fact that you can’t really kill people in endgame and the first time I played him I couldn’t catch these two people. so I just said you know what, jeff just isn’t my type. so now I’ll just main pcx till a new monster comes out
He relies on crouch a lot, but the crouch is very op, having no sounds and dealing 70 dmg. I think its kind of unfair if you get hit, because his attack speed while crouching is very fast, so he could kill you while crouching if you dont realize right away. If you get hit once and do get away, they get a speed boost, and the next attack is going to bone break you, which HEAVILY nerfs the player. I think his crouch dmg should be 50, so that he can still 2 shot, but not bone break after one initial hit.
'Jeff does 18 damage' Me when ingame: (Jeff hits me, dealing 25 damage) ... is it just me that im getting 25? I made this comment from what I've experienced playing against JTK (Jeff the Killer), so im bound to make a mistake here, tell me if i have or not, ill edit it to fix it
I don't know if it's just me, but Jeff's ancient (Classic) skin really bugs me out. It's always early game, there's a crowd of people doing tasks, then suddenly Jeff appears, disguised through the people. Most of the time I can't differentiate that Jeff Skin from a real player.
the gameplay of the jeff killing 500 people with maniacal haste is like a jackpot cuz all of the people heard the damn AHAHAHAHAHA from killing other players and the fat ahh footsteps and they just went to the killer in a lobby with real people this doesn't happen

Jeff does NOT do 18 damage, he does 25 even though the ability info says 18
Just add the ability to cancel maniacal haste. It will solve a lot of issues. As seen in the footage of this, and some other videos, Jeff is super loud during this ability, so in the endgame, players can literally avoid him from a distance, just by listening to where he is coming from. Having to wait out the duration so you can go stealth mode is annoying and takes a lot of time if you killed someone recently. Make it so pressing the button again makes ithe ability end manually and maybe have a slightly reduced cooldown.
Jeff reminds me of Mimic. STEALTH.
My dumb ahh thought he was talking about if he was not evil
I feel he is well.... Actually really hard for a normal player to run against or out stamina. I get he can be both really bad at endgame and kinda mid in open areas, but to be blunt, as a Jeff main, You can't loop him due to the Rage meter, you can't really out stamina him, and if he's on your tail then it's a 100% game over. Though open maps are his true weakness, but has some workarounds. Lobby wiping is super easy with him.
he is definitely loopable, play jeff on eclipse and you will want to jeff the kill a family of 5
@@jack6478 We uhhh... We don't talk about Eclipse.
Nah he is pretty strong in end game, just abuse the rage mechanic
HE IS BROKEN I HATE HIM BROOOO
His first ability is die die situation fr, either get 70 dmg free or outrun them so fast and it's the only ability you need. Someone was lvl 75 jeff wiping everytime with this only ability but he had a team with his friend.
A tier in my opinion
I feel like he could have 1 more ability then he would be perfect my idea would be if could start laughing and everyone nearby gets blinded by laughing jeff icons on their screen (similiar to springtrap vent error)
Jeff is aight, He’s not the most fun but he’s not the worst. He’s not overpowered or underpowered either. His abilities are fine and the skins are decent to say the least. (The Jeff skins are kinda overrated, specifically Slaughter)
Jeff feels unbalanced
Especially on maps like Black Sun & Drainage
Don't walk around & wait for him to make the first move. Slient Stalker doesn't make you fully sneaky; you still emit a small breath that is audible if a player pays attention. He mainly just kills incompetent players. When he goes against competent players who actually pay attention & aren't stupid, they're looping him 100% of the time
Combine all this with Stephano & you are not getting caught offguard.
I really just find Jeff not a threat at all. If I see a Jeff user, I'm thinking "oh no, it's Jeff. Whatever shall I do..."
to be fair corner camping is way too strong against most monsters, yeah though he seems pretty eh
Enoth 💔
@Andy_B18 my gramar sucks 😭
if you're getting ambushed at low stam then just run around less like you should do with mimic and fogborn
@@pirow939 yeah
@@pirow939 i'll try to do that but it will be hard cuz he has 90 stm
Um He is More broken the pcx and broken at early game and late game you just do not really know how to play jeff that way
Blade adding a balanced monster??! 👀
In my opinion i think jeff takes skill and on big maps like that pacman looking one withe the pellets and ultra pellets its almost impossible to wipe a server
If they give him more speed he would be the best monster
In my opinion I think Jeff is the best character in the game
He is the definition of skill needed but not much
Did he get nerfed or something because I haven’t played with him in one day when did he do 18 damage
In my opinion I hate Jeff. It might be due to me not being used to him yet but. He isn't fun to go against or play as. Although that reason might be due to me maining PCX as I like his speed.
I hate how there is always 5+ Jeff’s in the server like I know he’s new but you don’t need to like have 5 people that are jeff
Dawg we've seen this happen like multiple times now already, it happened with Inkfell, it happened with PCX, it's expected at this point whenever a new monster comes out.
@@enderilian yeah, after a day or two his fame will die down
New monster syndrome, this will definetly happen with Valem too since hes gonna be free so get ready for that lol
PCX Syndrome is still happening
this usually happens when theres a new killer..?
I think jeff depends alot on the maps he gets ngl
Jeff is pretty good
He feels stable and not annoying to go up against and he doesn't feel blatantly overpowered where you could just get a server wipe without extreme effort (I'M LOOKING AT YOU PCX)
There's not much you could really do with a guy that has a knife but the game does something well with it that makes Jeff more captivating than PCX
(Also Why does PCX gain more XP than most monsters, I'm level 38 already on my PCX make it make sense 💀😉)
edit: Yes I'm Eggman guys i hate that hedgehog 👹
Jeff the killer release is gonna be PCX all over again
honestly I don’t really think Jeff is for me cuz like the fact that you can’t really kill people in endgame and the first time I played him I couldn’t catch these two people. so I just said you know what, jeff just isn’t my type. so now I’ll just main pcx till a new monster comes out
I feel like his knife hitbox size is way too large
He relies on crouch a lot, but the crouch is very op, having no sounds and dealing 70 dmg. I think its kind of unfair if you get hit, because his attack speed while crouching is very fast, so he could kill you while crouching if you dont realize right away. If you get hit once and do get away, they get a speed boost, and the next attack is going to bone break you, which HEAVILY nerfs the player. I think his crouch dmg should be 50, so that he can still 2 shot, but not bone break after one initial hit.
yes
He is simple to use and very effective but i woulnt grind on him, i rather grind vapor.
I mean is that so bad ?
I guess it ads a very good challenge.
After all... It's harder to kill the last survivor in any scary movie.
Most balanced killer ever released in pillar chase 2, and he can become a stealth master? I ma get him diamond first then finish diamond it MX :)
Ima skip this Diamond for now until he gets a little more buffs against end game and continue grinding MX for now.
'Jeff does 18 damage'
Me when ingame: (Jeff hits me, dealing 25 damage) ... is it just me that im getting 25?
I made this comment from what I've experienced playing against JTK (Jeff the Killer), so im bound to make a mistake here, tell me if i have or not, ill edit it to fix it
The couch slash range is stupid
1:48 vapor:
He’s good but he’s really loopable and from my experience he can’t serverwipe with a lot of players on the match my best lobbywipe was with 10 players
I don't know if it's just me, but Jeff's ancient (Classic) skin really bugs me out. It's always early game, there's a crowd of people doing tasks, then suddenly Jeff appears, disguised through the people.
Most of the time I can't differentiate that Jeff Skin from a real player.
I killed 9 people with his second ability 😭😭 (there was 10 survivors)
Jeff the killers killers the lobby
Jeff does 25 damage per hit not 18? He'd be much worse if he did 18
Jeff is so broken he is so fast and kills you in 4 hits
the gameplay of the jeff killing 500 people with maniacal haste is like a jackpot cuz all of the people heard the damn AHAHAHAHAHA from killing other players and the fat ahh footsteps and they just went to the killer in a lobby with real people this doesn't happen
also can we stop pretending it's good i swear even the most boring character : baldi is better than jeff
I don’t like jeff 😅😅😅 not my play style i like pcx soo fun my level on pcx Is 23❤ i got pcx 2 d Ago
Jeff in my opinion he is not that good cause his moves are kinda boring
Soooooooo you're saying that he like baldi
Do baldi
I main baldi
Jeff is the second pcx and should be deleted
he still 4hit combo me even when I'm running before he catches up to me sooo.. no he needs a slight nerf
Jeff did not need the 90 stamina buff he should have 85 or 80 again
No
broski 80 stamina isn't enough to catch 1 person in 1 go. he deserve that 10 stamina bonus
@ he should get 95 in my honest opinion
