Gimme Shelter might be my fave RS song. Band looks tired now, compared to when I saw them 30 and 40 years ago, but so do I at 76. I am in love with Chanel.

The intro in "let it bleed" is the best; at the end of the intro (if the song get his structure) i always have a great wild stunning feeling - i have been listenting to gimme shelter for about 50 years meanwhile, once or twice a week. I have no other song, who impressed me so much. The lyrik is one reason; total currently. music and lyrik embody the apocalypse simultaneously.
