    Vanessa! You are amazing!!! I have been watching/listening to you for a little over a year now and I am thrilled to have someone to follow who actually “gets” early childhood - both private and public Pre-I. I have a very strong background and have been teaching for at least 20 years as an ECSE teacher and now in a small private program. I can’t tell you how much of a need there has been for this. You are filling Avery important niche. There is so much “cute” preschool projects out there via Pinterest etc but I love that yours is actually research based. You touch on things I already know but it is so validating for me. I really need to join teaching trailblazers soon. I have tried to make a curriculum map many times and never get very far. Thank you for being a great advocate for pre-k. Please keep up all the great work and know how greatly you are appreciated by some of us oldies out there!!!

      Thanks so much Vanessa for this clarity!!!
      I was so struggling with what to teach/how to teach/when to teach and why we teach it. Since following your channel I have learnt a lot and I am feeling way more confident.
      Thanks so much!!!

    Amazing job! What a great idea to collate all of the standards. Governments around the world leave their teachers baffled by curricular reform!

    Please note that both Georgia and Florida have state standards for prek. Georgia's are listed under the Georgia Early Learning and Developmental Standards and Florida's are listed under Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. Florida also has a Voluntary PreKindergarten Program that has standards listed.

      Yes, I know this. I just showed a screenshot of the Trello board, to see all the state standards users must scroll down.

    Hi! I don’t see PA State standards on your beautiful master list but we definitely have Pre K standards it’s called the Pennsylvania keys

      Thanks for the info, I'll add it to the list!

      Update to my previous reply, I checked the Trello board and Pennsylvania is on the board, you just have to scroll down. I was only showing the static view in the video.

    Great job presenting this, Vanessa!!! This was fantastic and verified the curriculum that I've developed over the last 40+ years! Is there a way that I can get a printable copy of the Emergent Literacy Learning Targets chart? Thank you!

      The entire standards document is aligned with our curriculum and includes much more than just literacy; it is only available to our Trailblazers inside my mentorship program. teachingtrailblazers.com/

    I have been watching your videos this week and I am so thankful for them. Can you put a link for the Trello Board? I keep looking for it and I can't seem to locate it on Teachingtrailblazers. Thank you!

    I love this! Right now in my home daycare I have 2 1/2 year olds. Is this a little young for this age?

    • @PreKPagesvideos
      @PreKPagesvideos  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Correct, everything here at Elevating Early Childhood/Pre-K Pages is done with 4 year-olds in mind.

    Hello, Vanessa. I checked your favorite Amazon items . I was interested in mini erasers. I bought two kinds from your list, but they are so small that difficult to use. Especially the space theme. I do not know if you bought them but they definitely are not for children's hands and eyes. The fruit theme erasers were a little bigger so I might use them , but it is not the same size that you bought in Target.

    • @PreKPagesvideos
      @PreKPagesvideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      They are always very small, that's why they're called mini. You can see them in action on my blog here: www.pre-kpages.com/mini-eraser-math-activities-preschool/ I own thousands of mini-erasers. I wouldn't use them with children under the age of four or with children with special needs. If you're in a childcare program they may not allow you to use them. In my Pre-K 4-year-old classroom I used them for decades with no problems.

    • @hopehope9301
      @hopehope9301 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PreKPagesvideos I noted that space erasers from Amazon are very very small. Not the same size as mini erasers.

    2023 2024 trailblazer curriculum pacing guide is not listed in the links. Also, what I found (using the search feature and trying different search phrases) was a 70 page document by a different name and the blocks are not clickable. Can you provide a direct link?

    • @PreKPagesvideos
      @PreKPagesvideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Trailblazer Curriculum Guide is listed in the notes, if you scroll down it's located under "Resources Mentioned." Here is the link again: www.pre-kpages.com/products/trailblazer-pre-k-curriculum-planning-guide/ The PDF must be open in Free Adobe Reader to be fully functional. You can download it directly to your computer and then open it accordingly. There may be a few blocks that don't have links because they are scheduled to be released this year prior to the week they appear in the guide, such as some of the nursery rhymes.

    So would this curriculum be appropriate for a jk/sk classroom (4 and 5 year olds) or is meant for preschool?

    • @PreKPagesvideos
      @PreKPagesvideos  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have many JK teachers who use our curriculum.
