I am so fkn proud of Dinah 😭 I remember my 12 yr old self watching her audition on x-factor and being absolutely blown away. I thought she was Mexican like myself but I’m so glad she letting her Poly roots shine thruuu and I loved getting to know more about the culture too 🫶🏼✨
So well spoken! I loved this podcast. It's crazy the places Dinah has and will continue to take Tonga and Polynesian people, what an inspiration! 'Ofa atu 🇹🇴
Wow, so nice to see a Polynesian WOMEN, perspective in the music industry. Someone who has crossed over and experienced the journey, but is still humble to her roots. Great Interview
Being a Dinah Jane fan, when I saw her on X-Factor I assumed she was mixed, or at least just a lighter black girl. Not even knowing they tried to portray her in that image. But I followed Fifth Harmony from the very beginning. And that’s when I learned that she was a Polynesian queen!! I argued with my ex (who’s a conspiracy theorist) about her origins. He swore up & down she was Beyonce’s daughter who Bey got rid of. And I’m like “NO!” I have followed them from the jump. And he’s like “she look like Bey, sing like be, dance like Bey, and perform like Bey..” and that was a hill he was willing to die on! I love the fact that she’s not only embarrassing it, but she IS THAT POLYNESIAN QUEEN!! Much love Dinah!
She just makes me proud as a female Poly achieving moves, accomplishing the do’s. Thank you Dinah 🙏🏾🇼🇸🩸🇹🇴💚 from my hometown Santa Ana as well raised in compton proud. Keep that legacy flowing Queen 🔥
Complacency and being too “humble” definitely keeps many of us at the cusp of new heights, experiences, greatness. We are safe through and through. Believe that and keep going. 💪🏽🙏🏽 Great episode!
I love how the interviewer breaks it down for each question us fans loves this!!!!!! Thank u for breaking down the questions it’s cool to see how she have grown from fifth harmony!!!
Her and Lauren. Actually all the girls- when they talk, they talk so well. Miss them. Excited for what’s to come, Dinah!
