- MEETING MY INDIAN HUSBANDS PARENTS FOR THE FIRST TIME. I finally got to meet DJ's parents... it was my first time meeting them in person and it was wonderful. They gave us a such an incredibly warm welcome and we are so glad we are able to share the experience. You all have been waiting for this vlog for a long time. Here are the moments we clipped together of spending time with DJ's family while we were there. We didn't vlog it all because we wanted to be in the moment. Unusual situation -> if you had a sis-in-law and mother talking to each other in Hindi, do they have to translate everything they are talking to each other to your Mrs as she is not Hindi speaking? Here this conversation is entirely between your mom n sis-in-law.
Will she take a huge offence if your mother and sis-in-law are talking in Hindi to each other as your mom cannot speak English at all. This is in middle of hot summer in north India where anyone is usually tired of weather, if sis-in-law don’t converse or translate in English will that be a massive deal breaker?

@@christopherhall2571 i dont think dark in general as indians have different colour compositions however the point is yes in some sections obsession is more towards white though it may not make sense
@@bhaskermisra I understand. I was referring to the colourism and of course bleaching in the culture, which is quite prevalent and evident in commercials and Bollywood. Of course not everyone in the Indian culture subscribe to bleaching.

This is from our one and only trip to India so far. We’ve been back in the US and are just getting around to posting. We had previously facetimed and talked on the phone, but we didn’t meet in person until we went for our wedding because of Covid. 😊
