I'm planning on buying a watercoloue set for myself as a Christmas present because of you! I started drawing again this year and I've always been afraid of using colours. Because of your videos, I now feel like it's time to give colours a chance again :)
I have been finding it difficult to smile lately. The world is too loud and flashy, and I can’t seem to be heard no matter how hard I try. But when I visit Grandpa Shibasaki, he is very quiet and cheerful. Small beautiful paintings are made by a quiet and beautiful man. I don’t know you, but I feel loved. Then I learn I’m not happy when I’m trying to be loud and flashy. I find there is space in my heart to just be quiet and happy. And I don’t notice that I’m smiling : -)
Absolutely gorgeous, Mr. Shibasaki! The focus of the viewers eye is immediately drawn to the skull. Great job, it looks beautiful. Also, I get a strong autumn vibe from it. ❤❤🔥🔥
That’s amazing. At first glance, I thought it was an oil painting because the colours were so vibrant. Thank you for sharing this with us, Mr Shibasaki! ☺️ The community in the comments section is as warm and welcoming as ever. I’m glad this channel’s still here. Looking forward to more, sir! God bless.🌸
In the beginning, it was a watercolor painting but in the end, it looked like an acrylic painting. I've never tried oil painting, but it looks like it when I see it from a distance. Beautiful!
This still life painting is just mind boggling just imagine that a 70 year old man is painting an animal skull this shows that how passionate he is we commonly see young men painting these skulls and etc but sir though you are 70+ but you are still living and active devoted young man you are an inspiration to all of us 😭😭🙏🙏👍👍😁😁😁😘. Happy painting, happy life and stay healthy forever. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
I love your painting! Your art style is wonderful and I really liked your voice over and teaching style. I'm gonna watch more of your videos. Thank you for sharing this
You're artistic both in painting and in taking the viewer into a journey. Thank you very much. Learning a lot. Watercolor looks easy when you hold the brush! Lol.
Here is a very expressive "still life" by its staging, by the multiple forms and contrasting colours that "warm up" this painting and soften its "dramatic" expression. Thank you Mr Shibasaki.🦊♥️♥️👩🎨
I’ve been feeling very depressed lately and for some reason I started crying while watching this video. Just hearing your familiar soft and kind voice uplifted me.
Beautiful!! I love how the skull stands out, but I'm also blown away at how gracefully you've painted the glass bottle. It's beautifully rendered but doesn't detract from the boldness of the skull. You've inspired me to pick up watercolors again after years of not practicing. I'm still not as confident with my brush as you are, but I'm having fun using bright colors and letting myself go with the flow 😊
Shibasaki-sensei this us amazing!!! I love the use of colors and shading I really don't have many people right now who encourage me with my art but with your art tutorials and your little tips during the video I've been getting your encouragement to kerp making art so thank you so so so very much!!! :D 💖🍓✨🎉
this is the first time i saw pops paint something macabre, yet it still looked mesmerizing. pops makes something this complicated look so easy, the subtle shades on the skull looks amazing. i can't seem to do it well, I always ends up messing up, even the crack on the skull made it stand out even more. this reminds me of a painting I saw when I was younger, definitely one of my favorites among pop's pieces! another wonderful video pops! really glad i was able to watch it early~ stay healthy and hydrated pops! ❤️💓💗🌸🌸
This is so gorgeous!! I always feel like I learn a lot about form and value & stuff when I watch one of these videos. Thank you very much for a lovely start to my day, Mr. Shibasaki!
Painting bones looks like a lot of fun! The light varying shades on the skull looks like fun. The only thing is, drawing bones is so hard!! I’ll keep practicing though. Thank you for another video!! 💖🌸✨
Thank you for this meaningful video. I often watch you to relax after tiring days. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Sorry for using google translate.
Hello! I have been looking at your videos for a couple of days. Your paintings have shocked me and amazed me. Your loose technique, the dark colors juxtaposed with and combined with the white...so far my classes have not caused my mouth to fall open with surprise and joy. Thank you. I live in Arizona in the US and here skulls are a big part of the artwork. Parts of the skulls are cut out in the front and succulents are grown there. The skulls are hung on walls with the plants used to soften the sometimes dark affect. Perhaps something you might incorporate this in another painting? Thank you again.
I truly thank you for this video. It has so many tips that are helpful. I appreciated the tip about how to keep objects in the setting from becoming fragmented. Also about how to make the white areas even whiter with the deep contrast.
Incredible result! It has a lot of detail in all parts of the painting, the light and shadow are perfect in setting the mood and highlighting the skull and the subject matter has a beautiful contrast of life and death with the flowers and skull. Absolutely masterful work!
Wow!😍😍😍 It seems so easy, but it is not and the end result is beautiful I will try to do something like that learning from you teacher thank you for giving us your talent👏👏👏😍🥰
WONDERFUL! YOU ARE AN AMAZING TEACHER, AND ARTIST. THANK YOU FOR SHARING WITH THE WORLD. BLESSINGS AND HEALTH TO ALL. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! 🌄 SUNSHINE AND BEAUTIFUL ART, JUST AMAZING!
Very beautiful, you put every stroke with so much care and skill and you can see that back in the painting. Best wishes and greetings from the netherlands
Hi Shibasaki. Me alegra volver a verte.
You never stops to surprise me, the admiration for your work grows each time.

!
Wonderful. Do it !
i've been having a tough time at school. seeing your videos has helped me a lot!

I'm very sick today and your video was just what I needed to take my mind off of my trouble. Thank you so much
I rarely see goat or ram skulls in paintings, I always see them in photos for aesthetic but never in a painting, looks beautiful!!
In the beginning, it was a watercolor painting but in the end, it looked like an acrylic painting. I've never tried oil painting, but it looks like it when I see it from a distance. Beautiful!

I'm always mesmerised watching you build up the colours and shapes into finished paintings, and this is no different. Simply wonderful.
As always it is a pleasure to watch you paint. Thank you for sharing your videos.
What a pretty painting, best wishes friend Shibasaki from Chile>

OMG! This looks like a photograph. Beautifully painted.

You are so very good at everything you do ❤ Grettings from Ecuador, grandpa

Mr. Shibasaki, thank you so much for teaching us! I always learn so much from seeing your process and hearing your thoughts.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us.
You motivated me to use watercolors again. Nice work as always.
Very lovely painting sensei.
Thank you for this meaningful video. I often watch you to relax after tiring days. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Sorry for using google translate.
so beautiful and natural!
Beautiful 🥰
Beautiful. Such an interesting and unique subject.
Shiba this painting is so great. It's not what you usually do and it's awesome!!
