it doesn't do that. some machines are programmed to close when double tapped, not all machines are like this. there are also no "hacks" for claw machines unless it's a very old machine. there are techniques where u can learn, but not hacks where u just hold down the button xd

Yeah those claws are actually made so you have a chance to win (something about the ‘rigged’ machines being illegal in Japan) while everywhere else the claws are absolutely rigged so you have little to no chance to win. My cousin and I just happened to win a plushy yesterday at a regular arcade because we simply got lucky with how the machine happened to grab the plush. When we were at a Japanese arcade, we walked away with 5 plushies

If it only take one-two tries from 50 cents to 5 dollars (so anywhere from 50 cents to ten dollars if it’s a five buck machine with two tries) for a toy that more often then not costs 15-20 and above. Licensed toys cost way more. You don’t have to play them, but if you get good and know tips and tricks, you can get some pretty cool stuff.

Actually you have to wait until the timer runs out and when it grabs the plushie you have to hold the button to keep the grip on the plushie.
