Happy new year everyone! 🎉 Siege Esports is still in Winter break, but don't worry! To cover the time until new action is happening, we have started our new "Throwback Series" - bringing you highlight videos for some legendary siege matches! And which match could be a better starting point than the game many people consider the best match in Siege history - Penta Sports vs Evil Geniuses in the Six Invitational 2018 Grand Final. It did not only feature legendary players such as Pengu, Fabian or Canadian, but also has been one of the most entertaining games ever, so we hope you enjoy this little travel through time! Which match should we do next?
As time has gone on, this really is nowhere near that great of a game compared to some of the matches we’ve seen but this truly was the most influential game in Siege’s history as an esport
Couldn’t agree more I think especially recently where skill level has increased with experience and meta changes matches nowadays are fucking unreal, however I did watch this live and it was an epic experience
The game that consacrated pengu as the best player in the world, the best team in the world, and the unlucky eg, BC carried the final but he failed in the enterprise, that moment was also the canadian prime both in aim and brain
The game looked terrible back then too.. Some things have changed, many have improved. Old movements felt really good but really it was not balanced so it had to go.. Let’s just appreciate the game as it used to be AND how it is now. Cause it is improving even though some nice elements got lost
@@jannisop7 Leaning was a lot quicker with a certain technic, you could jiggle pick a lot more. It was quite satisfying tbh and impressive to watch at at highest level (try watching some of beaulo old montage for ex). But it also created perspective and latency issues so they slowed it down, which is great imo since siege remains a tactical shooter, you can still quick pick but it's less broken. Dropshots were also a thing in the past lol.

Team empire - G2 Raleigh major
Darkzero vs. FaZe quarterfinals. Hotancold’s famous clutch must be there.

Yeah - most iconic but not best at all.

6 long years later, now we've got another epic grand final from San Paulo, arguably more exciting than this final.
Wow what a flashback
Best game in history of siege esports kix and interro best duo
