It's really good but the timing feels a bit off.
Thank you. I know what you mean and I'm aware of it. It was kind of difficult because the acapella I extracted was also off-timed and talking with some friends we noticed that the music before the digital era was kinda off too. I hope the cover wasn't awkward to listen to. and again an apology if the cover does not sound as expected

@@marsmaae-loid Sorry in advance to break in in such an abrupt way, but I feel there's the need to clarify something here. You're both right, the timing is "off", but please note that it was done deliberately. Not only that - this particular aspect, combined with a clever choice of phrasing (the duration of a note before the next one, like legato/tenuto/staccato and so on) is *exactly* what gives the original such a particular character. I agree, it's not easy to replicate at all, and overall I'd say this is a good attempt!
To be more specific, in the past it was absolutely expected to play with time a lot, and depending on genre that concept is described using different names: in classical music is referred as "rubato", while here it's more like a strong swing which sometimes may even end up transforming in a syncopation, and has the effect of shifting the accents a bit. Hope this helps.

do you have the exact instrumental that you used in your cover? I can't find the right off vocals in yt honestly.
I did it myself in a vocal remover AI, I no longer have the file but I do most of my instrumentals like this

Yeah I know. I did it a year ago (or more) with the Lite version and a friend of mine render their Pro version for me...
Great job on the SONG I would have turned the "gender' slider a bit to the left to give her a bit more righteous anger, but the CAT is annoying as hell! He's OUT OF SYNC like a granddad trying to polka to a disco tune.
