Thank u Nena! ❤️ Actually, when I have writer’s block, I start doubting if I’m even capable of writing a song better than I did or whether I am a true “songwriter” at all. Maybe that’s because I subconsciously wanted to do it my whole life and a couple of years ago when I started to play guitar, actually tried to do it for the first time. And it was intimidating, and interesting, and anxious. Cause I thought it had to be an inborn talent or something and I had considered pretty much for my whole life that I couldn’t do it. But when I was watching your first songwriting videos last year I didn’t feel the pressure that I have to prove anything to anyone, instead, I felt calming assurance that everything will get better if you just keep practicing. You make everything seem easy and that’s why I love your channel so much! You inspire me to write and not give up. Thank u for your work! You make this world a better place 🥺 So, if you will, my piece of advice for beginner songwriters would be - be curious about YOUR songwriting process, try to explore and notice every detail that works for you and what does not, and the sooner you get to the place where you’ll be in your team, playing by your rules, the better the outcome will be. Don’t judge yourself and always trust yourself. Everyone can be a songwriter. And if you are interested in writing songs, that’s a good sign, maybe it’s your destiny because not everyone wants to do it. P.S. Something that’s helpful with writers block is to just rewrite a song concept. For example if you had a specific concept and you’ve already written a song from it just write a completely new song using that same concept and go from there.

If you ask what contents I want to see, they’re guitar tutorials, especially ones with advanced techniques like picking and new chords; you writing songs and playing them for us and lyrics breakdown (yes please!!!)

As I’ve been writing songs over the last few months at least I’ve been trying to consider the flow the album I want to write, and I’ve been getting inspired to write songs that might fit into gaps in the story I want to tell for the overall album. Maybe trying to conceptualize an album while songwriting could help some others get over their writers block.

Welcome Back! So I started songwriting when I was 9 years old in 4th grade as you said "I had an urge to writing songs" it is the same for me. I actually started writing real songs like 5 months ago. I am taking voice lessons and I really do want to produce them. but I do not know how to play an instrument besides ukulele and all the songs I write are sad and deep songs which do not represent the chords on ukulele even if you use minor chords. The softwares such as garage band or band lab do not work out for me because I need someoone to play the piano and guitar like in real life using the chords I want in the keys I want. I am only 13 so I guess I have to wait till I grow up to get in a music label. Because of pandemic situation I cannot go to any music studios and Turkey is lack of music studios. I really want to produce my music so much and I need someone to help me about what I can do. pls help me by answering the comment :(

i’ve never actually produced any of my music haha but i totally wish i could! maybe eventually i will, but there’s many ways you can teach yourself how to produce & it’s definitely a goal of mine as well💗

I am someone who has a difficult time expressing how I feel and for me, if I can put my feelings to music or write a song it helps me to communicate and express myself. Anyway, I have written lyrics and it's still a working process it's in a hip-hop/rap genre. I also don't sing but I can still get my ideas out there.
