He did alot in his community he built a stem centre which trains young people in science, technology, English and maths to have the skill set required to get in silicon valley. He bought out the whole block were he used to sell mixtapes and turned it into businesses. He helped alot of upcoming entepenuers aswell. It's a big loss. He really turned his life around and was trying to help everyone else

@@countryboysreact4407 i know its a year late, but i wanted to give you the full story of that day....he was at the store as he often was when he wasnt on tour or working. He saw a guy named "shitty cuz" aka Eric Holder, who was once one of nipsey's fellow gang members and also in some of nipseys early music videos and songs. Shitty cuz aka Eric Holder and nipsey had some words , and Nipsey told him he should leave because people know Eric Holder snitched on some fellow gang members. Nipsey was trying to keep him from around the store because he knew if someone saw Eric Holder up there he was going to get shot. So "Shitty cuz" Eric Holder took it disrespectful, went and grabbed a gun out the car and came back shooting Nipsey. If you watch the video he shoots him, runs like someone would return fire, notices they dont and comes back shooting more. Nipsey was also at the store because someone was released from prison that day and he was going to hook them up with free clothes from The Marathon continues clothing he owns and sells at that store.

Just a minor point, but the "E" in STEM stands for "Engineering", not English.

He always was able to walk in his own neighborhood with no bodyguards . He was a true king of our city ... REST IN PEACE TO THE FIRST ARIST TO SELL A MIXTAPE FOR $100 dollar, also only made 1,000 copies , they sold out in less then 24hours 🙌🏽

Nipsey Hussle is a West Coast legend for a lot of different yet equally important reasons. He was 100% self made and was one of the few artists that owns his masters to all of his music. He taught alot of people the importance of ownership. Every dime from his music goes directly to his family and his estate. He also was really big on giving back to his community where he grew up. He owned multiple businesses and gave jobs to the homesless and people some deemed "unemployable" to help them feed their familes. I read that he even paid people's rent when they couldn't afford to. He recently bought the entire shopping plaza where one of his stores was located and was planning on rebuilding it and creating affordable apartments for the residents. He opened VECTOR 90 which is a coworking space for entrepreneurs that helps them incubate ideas and secure funding. VECTOR 90 also has classes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for young people that teaches computer coding, web programming, and other classes to prepare people for the jobs of the future. He was planning on putting VECTOR 90 in other states as well. He was working with his city council to create an open air museum for arts and culture. He actually even had a scheduled meeting for the day after he died with the LAPD to try to help curb gang and gun violence and to help them help children. He was a living legend on the West Coast. He was also well respected in the hip hop music scene. He once sold a limited edition mixtape for $100 a piece and Jay Z bought 100 copies lol. All of the labels wanted to sign him but he stayed independent for a long time because he wanted complete ownership of all his music which is smart. Every dime from his music will now go to his family and his estate. He was a start guy who was a bit rough around the edges but had a heart of gold. You guys should react to his songs Victory Lap, Last Time That I Checc'd, Rap N***@s, Double Up, and some of his interviews. He spoke facts that many other artists in the music industry are scared to say. Countries in Africa and all over the world are mourning his death as well. Nipsey was Eritrean-American...his father immigrated from the African country Eritrea to escape war . Nipsey also gave back to Eritrea which is his father's country and was planning on creating programs for the youth there as well. Of course he made some bad choices growing up but he turned his life around for the better. He was trying to make life better for as many people as he could. #RipNipseyHussle

If you really listened to us and our videos from nip instead of getting defensive you would realize we are tryin to learn. And we understand we don’t understand but at the same time we can relate to things he says from our background just in a different way. But instead just hate on us…yes that will help things. I hate how y’all went straight to Eminem and yelawolf tryna compare lyricism. Y’all should maybe listen to more rap and not try to chase clout with videos like this. Y’all clearly don’t listen to rap. Dude on the left is a doof.

    • @countryboysreact4407

No clout chasing here we do listen to rap but we are exposing ourselves to new stuff based on what people have asked us to listen to. We say all the time a lot of this we do not understand and are tryin to learn.

Country Boys React I hear that but dude on the left is very dismissive of it. That song was about much more than cars and money that y’all thought it was. I think you should inform yourselves of the culture before you do videos like this because you come off really bad.
