My headphones are very sensitive. If my hood brushes past them, or if my move my head sharply, I hear a double-bleep sound, then the video or audio track pauses and I have to manually press play again. It's very frustrating. I understand that the headphones pause the audio automatically when I remove them, but it happens when the headphones move a microscopic distance - they are too sensitive. How can I disable this feature? I would be grateful for your advice.
That is so cool for you. On another very related note: did you know that feet can also be used to walk backwards? Very few people are aware of that, but you know now.
It's a major issue. I just got mine yesterday, and this has turned out to be a very annoying issue. Not only do they turn off at any minor movement of the set, they also restart the wrong player on the phone, so I have to go to the phone and switch the player again! How long am I going to put up with that? I don't think for long. And there's no app for the notebook, so no solution there. And every time I turn them on, ANC is active, so there will be some watery noise in the background. What an idiotic release.
I echo previous comments left by others: exceptionally clear instructions; much better than even the JBL support team could provide. Hopefully they're paying you for this video 🙂. Many thanks.
One of major reasons that I have bought this headphones instead of some others was that I saw in this video that they have possibility to mute the microphone during the phone call. Explained in this video on 5:46. I really need this option. Now when I’ve got the headphones I've realised that pressing that button for 2s will not mute my microphone but it just mute my speakers!!! Other person in the call can still hear me but I can't hear that person...who needs this function!!! Really disappointing......
I turned off the play & pause feature over the app… but it still makes that annoying beep sound every time i take them off or press a button. Even when they slightly move! How can i turn that sound off??
Ihad just bought them earlier, didn’t know much because of the guy that assisted us as we purchased it, but this video helped me… Thank you very mucch!!!
Great video, but one thing that was missing is the definition of the "JBLLIVE460NC-LE" Bluetooth profile that you warned us not to connect to. What is it for? Does the _LE_ suffix at the end mean low energy or does it mean something else?
hi i want to ask a question and i hope u are answer it so, i just bought it and trying to operate it now but when I'm charging it, the LED keeps blinked (with an orange color), the battery level when I charge it is 70%, so what's wrong with that? I am so confused
when it connected to 2 devices(phome and laptop) it play sound from laptop, but nothing from phone. have to disconect from laptop. any way to switch from wich device to listen using app/ ?
Having your headphones play/pause music while at the gym is extremely frustrating 😑 if there's a way to turn that feature off these would be my favorite headphones for gym use
Hey man! I have quite a problem with my headphones. You see! I have 660NC Bluetooth headphones, I left them to charge overnight and the first thing I do in the morning is check if they are charged! I took it off the charger and the red light is still on, the headphones won't turn on itself with the power button each time I tried. I tried resetting it a couple times but that hasn't worked either! Could you help me?
Great video but I still don't know how to turn them off. I could just turn the blue tooth off and recharge but I would like to actaully know how to shut then off when I can't recharge the headphones
Hi, thank you for your feedback! I did not think of mentioning this in the past. Holding the power button for ~4 seconds will manually turn off the headphones. They will also auto-shutoff after 30min not using them.
I just got these and I filmed a video on social media with them on but the microphone wasn’t working on them, and it used my phones microphone. How do I change that?
Hi, most smartphone apps use the built microphone by default (and it cannot be changed) For audio recordings I am using the “Recorder Plus” app, which allows me to select the headphones microphone. But this app supports audio only, not video.
My earphones just won't turn off. I don't know what to do, every time I turn the on/off switch, they turn off for like two seconds and automatically turn themselves back on. Is this a setting of the earphones or should I send them back to the JBL shop? I just bought them less than a week ago
I cannot check at the moment, but i don’t think that will work either. If I remember right, the plug going into the headphones only has three pins (left, right and ground). And there is none for the microphone signal.
It's far from pointless. I wear headphones at my job and not having to try and find the pause button with gloves on every time someone speaks to me is a great feature!
@@mikebromelow8514 It is pointless when the headphones randomly play that notification sound even if they are firmly on your head. Apparently it's a major issue with this model and it's driving me insane. I guess that the sensor is just really bad. And yes, I did turn off the auto pause option via JBL app, but the notification sound is still there. I bought these to watch online courses, and when the notification sound cuts 2 seconds of the video you are watching, you have to rewind and re-watch. Basically, it ruins the whole experience and renders the headphones useless. Which is to bad, because the sound quality and anc are pretty decent
my headphones JBL 660 nc are note paring on my android device,, Samsung Galaxy S20 - 5 G / do i have to wait for the full 2 hour charge ? My light is still red ? Thanks
You should not have to wait for the battery to fully charge. As long as the headphones turn on and the pairing mode is enabled, the phone should be able to find the headphones.
@@adekunleshineon932 You probably have a faulty cable. Buy a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm Aux Cable Cord. Make sure it says 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm or else it won’t fit with JBL headphones
@Hamdi YANIK Does the noise you describe sound like rattling? As if there was something loose inside the headset? If so, I have the same problem on the left side only... I'm still trying to figure out how to fix this problem
I recently purchased these headphones. I think they're great, except for the fact that everytime I move my head a bit there's a click noise coming off my left earcup. It seem that this constant rattling noise is even more sensible to my movement when the ANC is enable. Have any of you had this problem as well. If so, is there any way to stop this noise..?
Yes! I can't stand that. I hate that they stop the play every time I just barely tilt my head. It would be nice to deactivate that option. Still trying to look at how to do that if possible. Have you figured it out?
IMPORTANT! For all the who had problems with their start/stop-function even though it was turned off in the app, can now update their software in the app and after that it should work that they don‘t stop alle the time. In my case it helped. @MegaSafetyFirst would be definitely appreciated by all the viewers if you could mention this or pin this as a comment!
