I wouldn't call it "ramble" or "rambling". Your speaking is more of a stream of thought with great focus and clarity. It's a wonderful gift and so appreciate you sharing it!

this is so true. People think when you do something you love you will never work another day in your life, however, when you work for yourself, all be it something you love and enjoy, you will work harder than ever before! Reselling is a full time, non stop, grind! I love it! The difference is discipline, commitment and determination to make it work. Great video. Thanks tech 👊

the saying is 1000% true even if you work harder if you truly love what you do it wont feel like work at the end of the day at least it hasn't for me for 25 years its felt like i have been on a vacation and been paid for on top of it! i truly love what i do every aspect of reselling from sourcing to cleaning to testing to listing to picking and packing even answering customers questions you have to truly love all of it then though its a job and your working it wont feel like work

I commend you trying to juggle everything in the beginning. You are right. The saying "Find a Job you Love and It is Not a job" because you enjoy doing it every day! In reselling, you are right, it is tiring doing all the steps needed to upload items. However; every day is different and you get to find awesome items that are different. You Hustle but in a good way! You an inspiration to everyone who resells. Thank you!!

24 years on eBay. Single Dad! Yup tell me about it. My kids mom died and I had three young kids, a full time job (worked from home a very demanding IT job some 28 years ago until 2019 so I was home with my kids every day), and an elderly mother up the street. $2 an hour! I went from $70 an hour to ZERO after spending three weeks in the hospital coming out disabled and then waited 27 months to get disability ripping through savings. Now I live happily in a small apartment on about a fifth of what I made. What little I can physically manage to do on eBay (I have to plug into a machine 2-3 hours a day) is what I do for entertainment and to supplement, selling three days a month. Stuff happens, you deal with it! Simple. LOL.
College? I worked 60 hours a week (a full time and a part time job), slept 4-6 hours a night 6 nights a week (not 7), and went part time to college for seven years to get my 4 year degree fully paid for by me only.

I am wanting to supplement my social security check. I started selling ebay and did not know anything. I have made lots of bad buys, with low profit items. I have been following you and have seen that I have a mess. (Like you told Mel....vomit ) I am cleaning up the mess with better items. It's hard and slow. I am making a schedule to get my act together. You are so motivating. So intelligent. Thank you for sharing with people like me

yep gratitude or being humble many resellers are not humble as to what we all have right now in 2024 to be able to resell online if this was pre 1995 we all would not be able to make ANY money online at all so for 25 years i have always thought this way i have been very humble to the opportunity i have to make a living online be it eBay, amazon, poshmark anywhere online if it was pre 1995 i would not be able to do this so that's how you be humble and have gratitude

Everything you said I 100% needed to hear. My husband passed away 15 months ago. I spent the last year replacing his income by increasing my ebay store profit. But that only helped me break even and barely keep paying my bills even with my other full time job. I don't want that anymore. Ebay is my dream job. But I won't quit my job til I am at your 30 a day level. Now to my problems. My processes are not efficient and I am working full time hours for ebay but only listing 5 items a day. I need your help and the group to get me to the next level. I have watched every video from you but realize I need the accountability of the group now.

This was powerful!! Like you, I feel like a lone wolf. I dont have a big circle of friends and family to network my business. Ebay is my network and i am grateful. When I sell to someone in Australia or the UK from small town SoFL, I thank Ebay for helping them find me and my item. It's a beautiful thing.

and the thing is its not just eBay its every platform you sell on there all blessings we should all be grateful that we have this opportunity to make a living online period no matter what platform you sell on because if it was pre 1995 we would all not have this opportunity so if we all have this in our heads and look at it this way and humble ourselves and show gratitude then it should motivate to push harder within our business this is how i have looked at it since 98' (when i went full time on EBay, Amazon, and Yahoo auctions) and i have always looked at it this way that if this was 1994 we would not be selling online we would only have flea markets and yard sales and shows and stuck with local where as selling online gives you a world wide customer base

I wholeheartedly understand now that to win, you need knowledge and a will to keep learning every day. I met you a few weeks ago and you asked me a question. I didn't have an answer then. there's another saying too find a job you love and you will never feel like you worked a day in your life this is the message that i think tech is trying to send to everyone and how i have felt for 25 years doing this full time if you truly love this profession of reselling i mean truly love it every aspect of it then it wont feel like work it will be a job but if you love it truly love it then it wont feel like work if you don't truly love it then it will feel like work then you will start to dread getting up in the morning to do this like you might do at a 9-5 brick and mortar job that's when those thoughts creep into your head why am i doing all this work when i can be making more money at a 9-5 brick and mortar job. i have loved this from the start 25 years ago every aspect of it so for me personally i feel like i have been on a 25 year vacation and got paid for it this is how you feel if you truly love every aspect of reselling and those thoughts don't creep into your head

But I haven't been counting my blessings for what this Job offers and I haven't really been treating it like a Job. I love to thrift so i thought this would make a great job for me on the side. When i worked for others i always worked my butt off. But for some reason i cant seem to get disciplined for myself. I always wonder why that is. With the cost of everything rising i wouldnt be able to afford groceries or gas without ebay. But i always just tread water, i know i could push harder and get ahead. While he's worked every portion of the business growing up, the answer is no.
He has the ability one day to do his own great things, who knows maybe one day he grows up and finds the cure for cancer. I never wanted him to feel obligated or relegated to sell my old stuff on the computer.
If he ever wants to, great, but he can find his own path there
