Dude, thanks for this review. I was seriously considering this Geolanders, but seeing how you said they suck in the snow and winter road, I’ll skip them. I need an all around tire for year round. I live in SoCal, and although I don’t see snow that often, I still do. Usually on mountain roads. Thanks again! You potentially saved me from making a big mistake
I can't stress it enough that these do not have the right compound or track pattern to work in the cold and snow. Not a bad tire, but I am looking at a dedicated winter option right now. My friends with the KO2s have been rubbing it in my face of how well they perform on the ice and snow.
Nice review in the snow after your initial one back in Oct. so they seem like they do pretty good down until about -10 degrees is they about right? How do they do on snowy streets above -10? Also how do they feel in the wet? Thx.
One thing to take into consideration of my opinion of these particular tires and their performance is: I am comparing the performance to a previous set of dedicated winter tires that are studded. On pavement there is slippage on acceleration in temps between -10c and +4c are really noticable. As the temps drop, braking becomes troubleseome. ABS gets to work overtime on temps -5 and below. I haven't had much experience with these sub -10c due to our unseasonal tempuratures. I will update once temps drop, if the performance drops more I will swap them out back to my dedicated winters for the remainder of the season. Warm weather wet performance on pavement, perfectly fine. No noticable traction issues on wet pavement beyond the expected hydroplanning when hitting puddles too fast.
Thanks for that info. I’ll watch for your future updates. I don’t see snow like you guys do but when I go up to the high country it will get down to between 10 and -10 F, not anywhere close to what you see.
Yeah, that is the reason I stress that these are not for winter. People here have been saying these are good for winter conditions, to those people, I don't think they have ever run a dedicated winter tire. There is a huge performance gap.

You can reverse the noserubbing when the muddy roads come along. Pros and Cons @@I_am_TrevorJ
