This game, marvel vs street fighter, umk3, mk2 and sf alpha 2 and ssf2turbo are the best 2d fighters of the 90's. I think marvel vs Capcom 1 is not at the same level as this one. And as for snk fighting games, the only worth playing is kof 98. And then in the 2000 the best is Capcom vs snk 2. The problem I have with marvel vs Capcom 2 is the shitty Aesthetics of the ui that use fonts like from power point
Yeah, as much love as MVC2 gets, it has some weird choices going on outside of the 2D sprites. Same with the music. They finally had enough storage space, but decided a few tracks of smooth jazz was good?
@@DoctorBadvibes yeah I guess back in the early 2000 they thought it was cool. But I very much preffer the "comic book" style of xmen vs sf, or marvel vs sf or even marvel vs Capcom 1. Or also the futuristic take on Capcom vs snk 1 or 2.

I really like Rogue's power drain here, in Marvel vs Capcom 2 they modified it to only absorb the highest stat
