The transition from autumn to winter went so quickly too; one day it's still dark and wet, the next day it's white and cold. Can you believe i didn't notice roof cleaners until now that you mentioned it? Had i known i would have aimed the camera longer, awww :/ It is important to clean roofs to prevent too much snow from accumulating, which can cause dangerous situations if the snow slides down. However, i think the roof cleaners at Stockmann are doing it super early, but it's the busiest place in all of Finland, so better safe than sorry. 😁 Have a good week!

One is safety to prevent heavy snow and ice dropping on to people as well as making sure there is not large enough build up on the roofs. So, if there has been heavier snowfall you see part of the walkways blocked as they are clearing the snow from the buildings.
